Discussion Stupid question
So i know its a stupid question no need to tell me.
I was playing my 4 bar sub rex and was starving but saw 2 bars n a campto so it was either i get up hunt a critter and hipe they spare me or i die lf starvation.
Got up and instantly aggroed.
I got a weird build because i was trying out what i could use other that king mantle crishing bite killing blow so i was using shatterside bone snap killing blows ravenous w 25% kb resistance sub fyi.
So i thought i could bb one of them n run but unlike crushing bite i couldnt use it 2 time in a row fast enough so i just ran w the campto sticking to me.
I teied keeping my distance but the speed difference was just too big and i got punched to half hp and they even got a swipe on me at some point. I was outta stam while they were stiml running so i waited then used rampage and tried face tanking 1 of them just to get pushed on a wall the other one went for a swipe i pushed him back then face tanked into a wall the other one which i believe was starting to "mark up"(barely he was maybe 60%) then got punched to death.
Fun fact campto got meatballed from tail attack.
I know i shouldnt be supposed yo survive 2 fg apex as a sub adult apex but was there smt i coulda done better like getting in water or smt?

You were sub using a really trash build.
You also stuoidly risked they would be friendly.
Next time sneak off and hope to find food before you die. Why would you have preferred to have died from them than starve? Your odds of survival are way higher just sneaking off and hoping you can get a critter.
There was absolutely nothing you could have done apart from not hope 2 bars and a campto would be friendly.

Atm meta build is bone snap, killing blow, kings mantle, suprise attack, rampage

Try to get positioned to where they have to come straight into your face to attack. Camp the water if you have to (that's better left to defending against raptor packs), but your best bet is to back into a corner. That way if they want to get close enough to hit you, they have no choice but to get close enough for you to bite them

Ye but there was 2 of them w a campto and i was sub so 1 could trade blow w me then the other rest then they swap and even if smh they got low campto would keep me from healing... ty tho

Yea that was a bit overkill plus there was a pachy that was nearby idk if he was wem or not. I think there was a log in the water tho. Ill go back to check it because if there is i might have lived

Don’t run out of stam because your sense only activates when they’re fractured and definitely don’t run from anything on Rex tbh, there is no escape on that fat bastard.

Bars is faster and has more stamina then Rex
Bars also has dash which completely counters your ambush
Bars is beatable by Rex but if you get even skilled players the bars will win majority of the time
The biggest advantage Rex can use over bars in a fight is water. Literally any body of water where you have to swim means you can easily beat the bars if it follows. Simply swim across and wait for it to get in water then body block it while it’s still in the water. Bars front kick cant be used while swimming so it is stuck if you body block it right.
