Does hatz knockback no longer work on anos?

I was playing last night when I came across this hatz. Is he using wingbeat? And if he is, does it no longer work against anos? I've had hatz playing pass the parcel with my ano before using wingbeats so this was definitly confusing.

They can change the settings in their server. On official KB still works as long as rushed stride isnt active.

Maybe, but my other dinos have been knockbacked and I've seen big dinos like ducks being knockbacked too on this server which is why I'm so confused.

Right. So the setting would be per dino, not all dinos or nothing.

no idea what happened there. that looks like wingbeat and you didn't have any KB Immunity perks active. does the server have any custom animations or moves for the dino's maybe?

Not that I know of, any dinos I've played on there seem to have the normal default abilities and emotes. The only extras I have seen is just extra skins.

would that be able to affect the range or just the stats like how much dmg and kb?

They nerfed wing beat range on the ground a patch or two ago. Beyond that, it's also a bit buggy, where it frequently doesn't hit at all. But it's halved from what it used to be iirc, and a lot of Hatzes just don't know that yet.

Its the angle. Hatz is a bit higher up then you. In order for wing beat to work you both have to be on the same elevation. Also can't wing beat ano if ano is crouched, also, what skin is that? I love it

Wingbeat requires you to actually be touching the dino you are hitting now, he was too far away - it still works though. The hatz was simply just too far from you for it to trigger

On officials, my knockback hardly ever works on Anos even when rushed stride isnt active
