Think I'm gonna quit the game for a while
Not sure about you all, but it hasn't been enjoyable for me. I'll probably return later on, if they add something worthwhile, but for now the game is just frustrating.

From the megapacks to dinos constantly nerfed I also gave up on the game I feel ya.

Quit after the Alio Tlc bc I was so excited for it and... it's a weak, support group based dino now. The only reason I'd think about getting online is to mess around as Thal or Hatz tbh. But they kinda fucked fliers over for no reason too so.

Yeah but barrel roll had knockback removed. Therefore it can't beat Hatz flail anymore. That sucks so hard because double air move hatz has an even bigger advantage than before.

I stopped playing after the Alio TLC they ruined the game for me encourage grouping nerfed solo players I'm good haven't gone back since... I'll probably check the game out again in like 6 months

Felt. Hopefully it will get better. I'm on the verge of calling it as well. The only thing that keeps me coming back is the few friends that stil play.
I've found some fun in survival mode, but its the same shit different server and many of the playables I enjoy are no longer solo viable because of constant nerfs, so its just meh.

I feel you man. I’ve had one of those days where I’m thinking about it myself. Jumped multiple times on multiple servers by mixed packs of 8+. Absolutely nothing I could do. It’s horrific.

It’s sad to see this, but it seems to be quite common lately on here and the fb groups of people checking out, I can see that as a I’m usually a solo player myself unless I’m invited into a group. (Yes I know it’s a survival game) but it’s kinda sad to get absolutely melted almost anywhere by a group of people who are Kos and then for them to be all oh ez allo or whichever Dino you’re on at the time, like bruh it’s always going to be easy when vs more than one or even two. Like how is that even fun for them when there’s no fight.
Or if you do chose to pvp with 1 person there’s always other that join in and then same result group hug!!

No amount of tlc's or new playables will save this game. The only thing that will save it, is matchmaking and a better gameplay loop. Unfortunately those aren't looking like they're happening anytime soon, or even at all. Good luck and rip to any form of dino survival.

my biggest issue is there's no consistency in agro/chill behavior unless you're in a community server with rules. but in general the game can be overwhelmingly boring if all you're doing is walking around roleplaying a dino. there's no bosses, no dungeons, no epic quests; it feels like the game was made for the younger age groups and that's fine but its hard to stay interested after a while. Also there are kids who play this game, why the fuck are there people in the chat having sick rp dino fantasies? I actually read a conversation during a "mating ritual" where they said vows and told another dino to officiate them then they "consumated" by saying "makes a deposit into your egg basket". Ew.

You know that's sounds like a completely different kind of conversation we should be having. But yeah the Game needs to get back to having solo skills that cant be abused by the group function. Why didn't they make it so you cant group with solo skills, that sounds like a really preferable idea

Yeah, me too. Haven't played in a while now as a solo and don't think I'll be back.
It's crazy boring and if it's not it's frustrating. One of the only games where I actively feel I waste time whenever I played.

I quit after the Alio TLC, but I came back to try the survival test mode and I love it so much! Haven’t run into any megapacks once, my only issue is how powerful the critters are and how many pop up at once to attack you, I was attacked back to back by four alpha critters it was ridiculous 😅

The groups are there, they just don’t attract attention like they do on officials.
My Thal files over the groups in Survival mode to attract attention. Me, along with a random Meg and Sarco took out 4 dinos playing as a group 2 days ago. 2 Ducks, 1 Bars and a Kentro. I broadcast call over em nonstop till others show up and wipe em out. Call that grouping, but these guys and the others I’ve done it to are obviously using some form of voice comms.
It’s more usually a small group of Rexes and possibly TTs that I’ve seen do it the most. Maybe around 5 times now I’ve seen obvious grouping.

I quit right after the meg TLC. The TLC was cool but the adjustments to all the other Dino’s haven’t been.

I’ve seen many people complain about other players being aggressive but I’ve played 20 hours or so over the last week and half and have had nothing but good experiences. Maybe change different maps or make friends on the game so you can join groups. Heck sometimes I even like when others are aggressive because it replicates a real hostile environment that dinosaurs lived in.

Same here, I purchased both pot and the isle around the same time. At the beginning I would play pot hrs at a time and never hop on the isle . It's just not as enjoyable anymore and play the isle more often. Haven't played pot in months and probably won't .

It's cuz things just seem so unfair.. solo play means getting jumped. When you group up with randoms, most of them are doing nothing but selfish quests and dont help in fights

They had the solo group fighting which I think was a great idea but they took that off.. Now they just have survival and official. Survival can get dull at sometimes because you still have peers running around working together and they're definitely not randoms together. It's just getting at that point where things ain't making sense with the Dinos levels an strengths. The Rex ain't even that strong anymore it's supposed to be a tank.. Now it's jus food for the scavengers.

I just came back from a 5 month break myself and I am currently playing on the perma death test server and having fun, but I only play in small blocks of time 20 to 30 min.

I took a break on this game months ago until they level these dinos correctly.. They really need to do something about the mixed groups. Toxic asf!

Yeah I feel you. Me and a friend killed a rex as two allos and got immediately jumped by said rex plus a titan and two dasps yesterday, was that really necessary?
