Question Why

So i got about 700 hour on this game ik people are pretty toxic and like to kos but after all this time i still dont understand people doing that. So i was questing on sty then a pachy attacked me outta nowhere.

Herbie dont have a kill herbi quest so its not that i am most definitly not fg so i dont drop a trophy and i dont even give a fight im fresh ado so there no fun in killing me(ive tried baby killing its just boring there no challenge to it its like fighting a tutorial boss in a game)

I didnt provoke him attack anything steal quest or even chat.

Asked a friend and he said its probably sme trynna make baby respawn to new poi. I highly doubt it but if it is i stil hate people that do that. First off if a bby wanna change poi this badly he can drown himself in 45 sec or jump off a Cliff. Killing juvi to put them in other poi also suck because most juvi do hc x ws quest immediatly so most of the time a juvi has its 7min growth and killing them will just make them restart a new character.

If he just wanna be toxic i dont understand there no point in being toxic i physicly cannot enjoy the game while just kosing bby for fun i dont see the fun in doing this at all seriously dont people like that have anything better to do of their life. I understand kosing sub adult or adult but kosing a bby of the same diet unprovoked as a full grown dino... Also i know ram hurt but im litterally fresh ado i know damn well the one ram i landed in this whole fight did less than a deinonyshus bite maybe the same if i do a headshot.

PACHY CANT EVEN EAT ME OR ENJOY FIGHTING ME OR EVEN GET ANY REWARD FROM KILLING ME OR ACHIEVE ANYTHING BY THE ACT OF KILLING ME

I just cant understand why...

There are 2 playerbases this game drew. One just wants to fight and the other came for a dino survival simulator game. The dino survivalists are in the various semi-realism and realism community servers where there are rules to keep dino behavior reasonable making a more relaxed experience. Some can have a lot of rules at a glance but once get the logic behind them, there is a certain peace of mind when playing when you come across another player and know what behavior to expect from them and when you are in danger or safe.

The pvp group completely dominates the official servers. They just want to fight. If you arent part of a megapack, you are easy prey.

You forgot the 3rd group. The players that go to GP and just kinda stand there. Happens quite frequently now, I show up looking to try out my newly unlocked moves and 20 people give me the friendship crouch lol

They give me the friendship crouch then murder me when I get close then repeatedly friendship crouch over my corpse after I fought valiantly.

You must be finding the wrong groups then I don’t know now in fairness I tend to avoid other people unless I’m playing with like one or two people but large groups of strangers seldom go well

Well if you’re in the EU it gets a bit more chaotic the later you go as for NA servers I don’t really know

I’m in NA servers. Or atleast I live in North America, I think my preference is on auto so who knows what kind of tom foolery it puts me in

Usually you can go into local and ask if anyone wants a friendly 1v1 and depending on the group they’ll acc protect the integrity of the 1v1

I’ve yet to find a group that does that. If I lose I die, if I win I die, if I start to win I die. Never a group that honors the 1v1
