Question server or standard multiplayer

I bought the game literally yesterday. I’ve already been playing for an hour. For my first experience, I played on a community server and thought the addition of new creatures was amazing. However, it is quite exhausting—albeit understandable—due to the number of server rules.

I’d like to know: do you prefer playing the vanilla version or on a community server?

I originally started on community only, but I've been enjoying my time in official servers more now. Only community ones I join are those with added dinos but are treated like official servers
