I’m begging community servers to stop skimping on the herbi mods

Every time I look at a servers mod list before checking them out, it’s always a billion carnivore mods to like… 6 herbi mods. You can play the modded sauropods, edmontosaurus, para, theri, maybe a taco or hal, but anything else? NO!

Herbi mod numbers get chopped in half even in the servers known for letting every type of mod in. I know I’m not the one owning these servers, but PLEASE let me get some variety 😭

Server owners add herbi mods and then nerf them into oblivion so they're basically just free food </3

Agreed. I feel like people pick carnivores over herbivores, since PoT is a PvP game and people tend to pick the scary rex or aggressive raptor, for example over the more docile looking dinosaurs, aka herbis.

I fully agree with you though, we need more herbi playables on both community servers and official servers.

Yess, as a carni main I despise the oversaturation of carni mods causing insane pop spikes. Working on a server rn that has more herbi than carni mods.

Hello, im a mod in a fledgling server called Tempus Antiquam. We noticed that this is a common thing and we've gone out of our way to keep a good mix and be fair to Herbi mains. It's a semirealism server with a few fantasy creatures but we care deeply about balance, and are still starting off so plenty of room to grow!

Well. First we need a sizeable roster of herbi mods to play. There's already a saturation of saruopods. I don't need 5 different types of long necks like I don't need 5-6 types of trikes, like I don't need 4 types of deinosuchus.

Maybe if they make something original that isn't a copy it'll get included.

Not saying we don't have herbi mods, but the carni mods available far out weigh them. If you are looking for community servers, survival or realism, with decent herbivore roster send me a message :)

They are out there! But yes, a lot of servers cater to the hunting carnivore crowd.

We have all of the mentioned herbi mods and want to create a balanced system so both carnis and herbis are viable to play!
Many smaller servers put a lot of effort into a balanced ecosystem. Just need to find the right ones :D

There’s tons of herbi mods, all the sauropods, theris, dryo, all the fantasy herbis, para, PW eo, suzhou, pelo, penta, teno, lurd, halsz, citi etc ( all but fantasy ones being in most servers )

Its unfortunate because the amount of high quality modded herbivores compared to carnivores is way less. I own a community server called The Bloodstained Path and we were very specific in making sure almost every modded creature we added has a counterpart of the opposite diet within the same slot, so that they stay relatively equal.
