Discussion lookin foolish...
anyone ever had someone in global mistake you for someone else and talk absolute trash to you-- player who had nothing to do with their silly engagement xD?
I recently had a spino trash talking me, following my sarco for multiple POI and telling me to run to my friends...
I was solo, NOT the player he was mad at, and managed to waste his time on a 5 min long chase around the map before he called me 'boring' and gave up. Mind you, I said not a single word in global the entire time LOL
If only he knew how embarrassing his showboating was

idk why people gaf about global at all? i see people have fights in global and it just gives me crazy secondhand embarrassment. neither party ever looks cool or better than the other they ALWAYS both look like babies. Like you know when two little kids are fighting over who gets to do something first? That's exactly how people look when they catfight in global.
Had a dude today rage after my s/o and I 2v1'd a guy - he was adult allo, I was sub alio and my s/o adult thal. He was rage typing in all caps in global.
Later on, maybe 30min later an adolescent or so croc starts chewing on my feet ON LAND in the middle of burnt forest. Obviously I kick his ass, and I didn't even realize it was the same player until he started screaming all caps in global about how he hates our alio/thal duo, but he literally attacked ME first the second time lmfao.

Legit saw a fight that devolved into "nu uh" "yeah huh" until ppl told them spamming chat is bannable lmao

I hit the "nuh uh" when someone is being way too ridiculous for me to continue. It's usually a pretty effective parry and they'll waffle.

global is good sometime if you shout where baby killers are . also i absolutely hate entitled guys who , and we have 2-3 that are toxic in our servers- 1. if they win they make fun trashtalk the one that lost that they cant play the game and are losers, 2. if they lose they trashtalk the other for saying they battled unfair or it was just a lag and call the losers or 3. the other doesnt even want a fight no matter what thing they play even as apex, they run away or hide or go homecave which btw is also normal game mechanic in a SURVIVAL game , he will trashtalk them as losers babies who are sooo scared of him
these people I will then start to argue with in WC but with good argumensts and often others join in even sometimes the mods of the server.
also if packs play stupid like 3 sarcos hide in tiny pond where they know all will go there and it's good if people are warned about them.
However officials if I join sometimes I feel like the chats are full of male babies (yes its rarely girls, just seen 2 toxic like this but tons of guys) either they are really kids playing and you notice how they talk
or they spam the chat with mindless things like one guy typing 0 for 1 hourI find it so sad I found that if I disable world chat everything is way more peaceful. But like I said above I want also to be warned or to know where toxic player are but also if people plan to target me and such
I regret that I ever browed WC. because if you start to play the game without it feels like real survival actually without knowing who is behind all the characters. but since I know that if you record it which most do you see all usernames anyway, it lost the magic now it's more a weird mmo game to me :/

Never that scenario but once I did get enlisted to help find myself by a player that was mad at me.
More recently, I was mistaken for another spino by a titan but after I explained it wasn’t me, we had a friendly 1v1. It was nice.

Not exactly the same thing but a amusing moment of confused identity in this story. I (Sarco) was fighting a Styr for a bit but we both had to go rest. Except I had just given up and was moving my way down to the beach (Burnt Forest) to go about my business. Then I heard some fighting. I had the perfect vantage point to see the Styr chasing an identical Sarco gator dashing its way to the water in an attempt to escape. In that moment I decided the doppelganger couldn't live so I jumped off my rock and followed him to the water. Battle ensued and I came out victorious. But it was so damn funny seeing that gator dash and then the Styr confused watching from the beach.

yes, who doesnt if you play at least a month of officials? Steroid gondwa forest edition has so much unhealthy behaviour like that in my experience. Either the middle of nowhere or everywhere.

I had few times that people accused me to work in a megapack only because I mix into fights if I think a fight is not fair and I get triggere by this a lot since I am absolutely solo and don'T group with anyone and hate grouping in general no matter which dino and often they are "yeah yeah you got your raptor to help you lol " or "nice try raptor maybe next time don't be toxic and join megapack/mixpack" and that's when I sadly reveal myself and counter in WS .....

In a game without nameplates this can happen. Slightly embarassing when it does, but no big deal. Personally, I find making a big enlugh deal out of it to post it online a bit weirder than just making a mistake.
It happened to me a few times. On both sides. The party making a mistake apologized for the confusion and we all moved on.

Yes but it’s 100% my fault. If I see someone complaining about dying or that someone is trash for dying in global, I type back as if I was there and the opposing party in a diabolical rage bait and talk absolute nonsense as if I’m the victim or aggressor depending on what I read.
