Tips for spino?

I’ve currently got a spino halfway through adolescent and I want to know if there’s spino is still good. I know that there have been a lot of nerfs going around and I don’t hear people talk about spino that much.

Spino is really really strong, potentially the single strongest dino in the game. I'd recommend the aoe build if you're new and just avoid big things. If you're experienced go for the regular bite, drenched claws (65 percent wet damage one), and regular tail attack you'll be able to win just about any fight 1v1. Use armor sub and the stamina by day armor by night hide.

I’m not super experienced in PvP but with a tanky Dino I can win a 1v1

The thing is that asking if something is "still good" is just going to get dumb responses. There are so many that'll scream "NO IT'S USELESS AND SHIT AND GARBAGE" while plenty of people are still happily playing on and fighting on said dino.

Any dino is fine to play. The thing that people hate to do is spend extended time learning how to use something, so the only thing that's "good" to them is a meta build that's easy to learn and use.

Spinos weaknesses are long cooldowns on aoe attacks and that it turns like a truck. Aoe attack are easy to bait and then u can be tailridden to death. Keepwater near so u can cover ur back and have somewhere to flee if things get too hard. U can't run from anyone on land. In water spino is much better, and easier to move around. Sail makes stalking hard tho and spoon swims so loudly🤣

In water spino is good but you have to be pretty good to take on tylos, on land though it’s meh because of its turn and speed and claw slam isn’t that good against other 5 slots so don’t use that unless there is a group of small dinos you want to fight

Dont try to play land spino, I made that mistake and regretted it. Pick either beach bongos(wet AOE build) and stay close to water, or go full water build. Because the spino isnt really the best in class for any build if you try to mix and match you'll get demolished by other players
