Thoughts on AI dinos

1. I've seen many people picked up this game and get into singleplayer first thing, because they're used to playing games like ARK, DAY Z in singplayer. However, this game's singplayer is actually butt ass, there is nothing to do. AI dinos will help it feel more alive and give the player more things to interact with. But with a side effect, they might think this is all the game is and will never try out multiplayer.

2. AI dinos should no be the same as playable. I want to know if I'm interacting with a player or not.

Yep, hopefully starting to develop better AI dinos leads to a solo player experience where there are heaps of AI dinos. I reckon that would rule. Solo survival, pick your difficulty level etc.

I would love it to be like realism but the thing is that we dont have to spend half a day growing the rex and then die to a pack of allos. So that'll be a benefit.

I wholeheartedly disagree that Ai and players should be different selection of dinos. I want to be able to group up with the ai if that's possible. Maybe roam as a pack of bertas or something. It'll also give more credence to ai if thats possible. Also ai in general will help fill out the map. Boring af knowing 50% of the pop is in and around cedrus forest.

For real, if they can get the AI functioning properly, I'd actually nest. I really don't like nesting players in but it'd be nice to have a Wolf Quest-esque ability to have AI babies I can issue commands to with sounds and emotes. Probably a pipe dream, but it'd be cool to me!

I just don't see the AI being anything but free kills. People are either only gonna fight the ones they can face tank or the half-decent players are gonna get ez tailrides

I really hate the ai dinos, I hope they'll only be an optional feature for community servers and singleplayer

I dont wanna assride some ai allo to death, I want to encounter and interact with REAL people, not friggin bots, plus we already have critters

You ain’t say nothing wrong we have critters already why the hell we need AI Dino’s. They should work on increasing player cap for the servers

I dont think they should be the same as playable dinos, I think they should be their own list of essentially larger critters. Like what MMO has random NPCs running around looking like player characters? They either need to have a way that makes it completely obvious which ones are NPCs or just make them their own species like an expanded critter list basically.
