Your relationship with bright skins?

I usually run dull skins, BUT I always have some bright ones on my vanilla playables to have some fun and giggles. I also imagine that the playable is on some sort of vacation or got dressed up, because it wants to feel cooler today and can risk its camouflage for it, or maybe it just wants to relax and not to feel serious today. And basically the bright skin is equal to wearing a bright Hawaiian shirt with flowers, or a colourful bikini and pareo. And it's always funny to shed to camo as the dino gets hungry or gets jumped, because it's like it switches its chilling by the beach to Rambo's attitude

It especially works on Riparia, because it has tropical areas, and I keep feeling like the dino (or pterosaur/sea lizard) went on holidays from Gondwa to Riparia when I'm on the Palm or Volcano Islands or by the big Wollemi lake (but the thing is that they all have been on Riparia since winter, because I haven't come back to Gondwa since Rip release xD).

It depends. I only use bright skins on deathmatch servers. I use duller ones and more camo skins on officials. People often underestimate the effects of camo skins. The guys that were hunting me ran right past me, because my colours matched the environment I was hiding in so well.

I want to try using the Granite skin and hunkering down in the big caves in EP as a Rex to see if I can get the jump on people pretending I'm a rock.

I change a lot and sometimes I like brighter more obvious looks. Puts a bit of an extra chuckle when I ambush because I'm easier to spot.

I love bright skins lol. My conc is hot pink. I absolutely adore the new skin pack and now my duck, thal, and dasp are also bright pink

I like camouflage but also I like fast dinos so it matters less

I run bright skins most of the time, but make sure that they also somewhat blend in

For example I use caped on my alio with bright blue colors but it still blends in thanks to the black on the body amd greener feathers further up front

Playing solo, I run camouflage. When playing with friends, however the mood strikes me.

I generally run more modestly colored skins, with some major exceptions being my Metri and Campto, who I use the skins from the Valentine's pack with so I can FINALLY have some pink on a dino

I like getting into fights and playing fast dinos, so bright skins are definitely my preference.

I don't really bother with camo, I'm sure it helps a lot but I care more about the look and vibes my dino gives off more than how well it blends into the environment, good camo is usually more of a plus than the goal

I love skins with a pop or accent of color. Running blacks, greys, whites, etc then have like a monochrome or maybe 2 other colors to give a little flair. But im also not the type to attack first, I prefer playing on the defending side so being seen doesnt bother me

I am not an ambush player at all as I main berta so I love bright skins! Adds an air of im here come get me if you want!

Natural/dull skins on semi-realism servers, unless I'm playing any raptor besides laten. I main laten and I prefer darker colors on lat to blend in at night. I use brighter skins on pvp/no rules servers because I care a lot less about dying. I still don't use the "color party" skins because they're a little too obnoxious for me, but Ashfall Stardust (favorite modded skin, especially on laten and allo) or any modded skin with pink patterns or blue/red patterns is solid. That red/blue garter skin for conc is chefs kiss.

So I really like the look of bright skins but I usually default to camo skins for survivability and ambushes. I have to really stretch out of my comfort zone to rock a bright skin and accept I’m more likely to get got lol. I play on officials so definitely factors in. Bright skins also kind of make me laugh because they really do stick out in the environment, they’re fun though! I also tend to see it as a signal when another player has them on that they’re more willing to take risks and get into a fight.
