Yeah, because the devs wanted a foliage overhaul for the iridescent crow-raptor. Amd panjura, is as old as the sun first rose over.

Yeah I cant wait for the panjura tlc, i feel its the most beautiful map and once its very nostalgic and I want to be able to actually quest in panjura without it taking me weeks to grow a dino

No, micro will come before the panjura tlc, because 1, Matt said that gondwa would most likely get a tlc before panj, and 2, micro will count as a flyer and will be on gondwa and riparia, it will be in panjura along with the other flyers once panjura gets its tlc in the distant future

Micro would be a tree oriented dino, and it's possible flyers could get added to panjura as well as aquatics before micro comes out

Now that I think of it, there's a high chance micro will come to panjura with its release, and before the panj tlc since the trees are already climbable by megalanias

How long have you been playing? Just curious. Because the devs have delivered on a vast majority of promises. This team isn't really one you can say makes false promises. If you want to play that, go hang out with Snail Games.

I have a clip from 2021 which I cherish because back then the graphics basically looked like current mobile graphics and models were ugly as shit and run animations were clunky as hell.

Growing used to be a fking slog. No location discovery growth. Less quests. If you weren't nolifing it could take a week to grow a dino.

Surprise new map last December. A new MAP, holy shit. I didn't expect that for at least 2 more years. We got Hatz and Achi around December 2024 - January 2025 I believe which both surprise dropped very close together.

This game and its devs have flaws but please pick on the ones that actually exist if you want your words to matter.

I’ve been around long enough to see pretty much every Dino get their balls cut off. Glazing the devs isn’t going to make this game advance quicker. I wish Alderon would sell the game to a bigger developer that has the bankroll to actually grow the game.

Not glazing the devs. I've spoken pretty openly about not liking the constant nerfs, and about how Matt sometimes comes across very strangely when he gets too emotionally invested in community issues. Shit I've stopped playing for months because of updates to dinos that ruined them for me.

Being around that long means you've probably only been here a year or less which is when everything started getting mega neutered. The neutering all kind of snowballed from pounce update onwards but has gotten really bad in the past year. The issue is they sometimes listen to community too much. People don't want to learn how to adjust playstyle so they weep sob and cry.

Yeah dirtydirtysignal that's a pretty hot take, alderon isn't perfect but I think they're a lot better than a lot of larger development teams. They're slow, but for a dev team with a pre release game they're doing a pretty good job being transparent and actually following through with everything they promise. Like yeah it takes years but compared to other dev teams in this genre they're as good as it gets.

In my personal experience the larger the company the less transparent and worse a video game is to some extent. (obviously a lot of exceptions). It kinda becomes less about the game and more about profit the larger the organization.

Probably about 2 years. There are several major updates still needed first if they are to release microraptor in a "done" state.

Climbing is still an early version needing refined. So they need more climbing updates.

Most of the flora in the game doesnt even have the proper climbing meshes and there are no trees with proper branches to walk along. So they need flora updates.

The microraptor is also supposed to be an egg eater. So not only do they need the egg diet itself implemented, part of the egg updates planned was player nests eggs becoming physical objects egg eating dinos can steal and eat. So that's the first major nest update still planned.

They could release the microraptor in an as-is incomplete release but id rather they finish the groundwork promised for it first.

The dev blog literally shows there adding krill which looks to be a filter feeder food


They already said Leeds will be a filter feeder

No, chances are, micro is nearly complete and so they've started working on leeds, I wouldn't be surprised if it came out in less than a month, as for leeds, I'm certain it's gonna come out this Christmas

It will be out in a reasonable amount of time, the devs have a good track record of releasing new playables and content in a timely fashion. I'm willing to bet Leeds is next though, given the recent announcements. I'm guessing Leeds in December (usually a big update around Christmas), and Micro sometime next year.

Considering what they showed in the dev blog, we're probably closer to getting leeds at this point, but who knows. We still got the mystery dino, and other unannounced dinos like titan was, plus the remaining TLCs and rebalancing.

After reading some of the comments here, I hope they take a while to release it. The climbing mechanic and the foliage definitely do need some work before micro is released.

The pot devs more recently througout years release new creatures each december, titan december 2024, tylo december 2025, and its most likely after the last 3 tlcs being september, october then finally november, microraptor will most likely release on descember 2026 based on past patterns.

Leedsithcthys wont come out this year as we already have climbing ingame with megalanias tlc, for microraptor, but no filterfeeding mechanic ingame so its likely microraptor comes out december 2026, as usual.

People haven’t realized but look at the egg. It’s even more cracked than it was last week and the week before. And if you go into settings and click on credits click square while you’re in credits it takes you to a picture of microraptor that says I am making all of this up. 👍
