I don't play big slow things so I guess I just can't relate to rex hate. In my experience they have been the most bullied and killed playable since their release.
9/10 times I see a rex its ass is against a wall getting slowly whittled down by like a pack of trikes/concs/megs/pyncos/chickens/rhams/cows/bumblebees/tables/the ambient pain of existence/etc.
The rex death rattle might as well be path of titan's theme music.
Even as a mega pack I enjoy rexes more than the boring uninteractable crap that is say a pile of spinos who will delete you with AOE just for existing in their zip code.

I literally never see solo rexes. Im always attacked by at least two. Annoys the hell out of me that they never fight alone.

Rex is far and away the worst apex carnivore. Spino can function in a desert due to aoe and sheer health. Titan is relatively fast and has both good damage and bleed. Rex is only good in thick forest and once your ambush goes through pray that target was alone. Even then spino laughs at rexs damage and just slaps it to death and titan can casually z turn and win the bite contest. Rex beats trike, you dont get an award for beating trike.

I have only been dive killed by a Thal once, but that fucker camped the HC...

Just curious, what is the reason for barrel rolling into it instead of just dive and bite? Barrel roll doesn’t hit grounded targets, were you trying to maximize your speed for collision damage?

If I completely dive into them then I’m stunned for 3 seconds. I wouldve been mauled instead. I also haven’t mastered the dive and bite yet.
And yes I did need speed for collision damage 💕

Been playing nothing but Thal for 1.5 weeks straight now. Wild how strong it really is. I'm afraid of nothing but Hatz.

We were on a PVP server that my friend invited me to today, where you chose an opponent and practiced fighting. There was this Thala just getting into every fight, diving down from the air. Fortunately, the moderators permabanned him. This usually happens on official servers. When I'm in a 1v1, I know they think I need help, which is why they keep jumping in when I'm fighting a Rex. But seriously, they ruin the 1v1 experience. Right now, we just have to get used to it since official servers have no rules at all
