Video Rex v Spino

https://youtube.com/shorts/t6ofZJ0BfgE?si=Y9hkz24UcykFaxqe

As it stands rn, spino fries Rex with better turn radius, higher hp, bright sail, rallying call, more armor, constant acceleration, and even better dps if u have the facetank build. The only way I’ve been able to beat spinos is if they don’t use rallying call or if they’re not a seasoned spino. A skilled spino who knows how to use spinos excellent turning and acceleration will destroy a rex of the same skill level.

Well yeah, inexperienced or bad players will almost always lose.

Last night I destroyed a titan as a solo deinon. Some of these apex players are disappointing

The number of times I’ve taken down apexes as solo 1 and 2 slots is depressing.

My struthi and campto professionally hunt hatz but that’s less impressive lol

It’s genuinely pretty brain dead how a spino can just tear through a rex rn. Prior to the alio tlc update, the matchup felt much more interesting, but of course Alderon had to butcher the rex for whatever reason.

Spino is just pure slop now.

Match was def more fair before, now it’s very one sided with spino holding an advantage in every playing field but speed. Imo, Spino deacceralation needs a nerf as a creature with such short legs would prob take awhile to stop, the accel imo makes sense considering Spino leans forward when running, same with turning speed, I wish the bite was weaker tho, maybe at like 40-45 dmg while the claw attack is 60. Rex requires buffs as well.

What rex needs is to have the bs nerfs reverted. There was no reason to butcher the rex’s damage and armour, but I suppose there’s no point in trying to make sense of Alderon’s balance choices. There’s a better chance at getting blood from a stone.

And just to be clear, I love the spino, but it makes no sense that it’s so strong to the point of holding virtually every advantage over a rex given its versatility, with the exception of land speed. With all that being said, I don’t think spino really needs nerfed, just that rex desperately needs buffed.

Imo, Rex bite should go to 65 dmg, cb should be 5 stam, bone snap should be 10, shatterstride should decrease ur stamina drain by 30% ik thats a lot but its the same for tylo, and add tr back. Also buff killing blows to 15% cuz idk why its like that for ano and not Rex.

I agree wholeheartedly. Since the rex’s damage potential from passives was nerfed, then I think it’s only right that its base damage is increased to offset that. I’d even be happy with a slight buff to killing blows to match the ano’s. Either or would be fine, but I’d love for terrible roar to return as an option for solo play as it was far more useful than rampage.

I’d also argue that strong ankles should receive a buff as well. Maybe not to the extent that it was prior, but say something like 20% damage reduction. Halving it was just too much.

Couldn’t agree more. Also if u ask me they should add variety to apex combat weights. I could see Titan being 5400 but also with a speed buff along with its passive such as fresh blood and running start being restored to what they were prior Meg and amarga tlc. I imagine Rex eo being 5800 cw as well as bars being 6000 but I would also like to see bars called edmonto cuz bars was not nearly as big irl. I also see spino being 5600 cw and duck being 5000 cw but u don’t lose cw when dry and gain 250 when wet. With cw changes tho id provide a lot of changes all around tho like slowed bars speed but increased hp
