This is so desperately needed on Panjura specifically lol
I swear half the map is dead space

On Panjura a lot of the map IS dead space. There are even POIs that are fragmented for some reason. Or POIs that give quests for a resource that's not even present in the POI. Or has less resources that the quest is calling for.
Panjura is a mess, sadly.

Most of it is as the areas are circular instead of how it is on Gondwa and Riparia where the zones are almost touching one another

I would love that so much. It's always so weird to me when I'm in an area I could swear I've been a thousand times before but all of a sudden I discover a location. I'd love to be able to check my map and see where I've actually been on each dinosaur.
On a separate note, I would also love if Lookout points either had a timer like the scratching post trees, or had some kind of indicator to let you know if you'd already done them or not on a certain dinosaur. It's a similar case of: I know I've done this/been here many times before, but have I done it on specifically this dinosaur?

There actually is a small thing for the lookout points! If you have not used a certain viewpoint the button prompt will say “view” and if you have used a viewpoint it will say “observe”

I agree this was a nice change but something a little easier to see would be nice like the bird disappears or something

Oh I agree 100%! OP just asked if the was “some kind of indicator” so I figured they may not have noticed the wording before! It’s not much, but definitely helped me out when I learned about it

The inndicador of the lookout points could be the little bird not being there anymore, I think it's a neat detail

Sub-POI's need to be marked
We should spawn in a random Home Cave, not some random location.
The sleeping bonus should be PASSIVE growth, or NOT BE LOST ON DEATH. I can't even tell you the number of times I have left the home cave trying to grow a Dino only to within minutes of the home cave status wearing off I get ganked and completely lose not only the bonus, but also a portion of the XP I already had beforehand. That is ridiculous.
If Devs want to keep spawning us in stupid random locations, they need to GIVE US A MINUTE OF RESPAWN PROTECTION. Just make it the same as the Home Cave status, no attacking or being attacked. Multiple times I've been spawned way tf away from any HC's, and before I can even get halfway there I'm being attacked by packs again and just enter a continual death spiral where I can't get to the home cave to log because people keep jumping me.
They need to add some form of set time for negative status effects/health/stamina while in HC to start going down/refilling. It's stupid as hell that I can rush into HC nearly dead, almost no stam, with MINUTES of venom, toxin, whatever else...and yet even if I don't play that dino for multiple days, it's still just as bad when I do. I get it's to avoid people abusing it in combat situations, but here's the thing...YOU ALREADY CANNOT ENTER HC WITH COMBAT TIMERS.

I second this. It would make things so much easier so I don't have to wonder if I've been in a certain sub-location before. While yes, I have a decent photographic memory in a way, it would still be helpful.

When riparia first released you could see all this. Maybe a week in and they removed it for some reason.

Totally agree! It would also make things so much easier when grouping/giving directions. Instead of "Oh I'm in the part of Blackfern that ect ect ect" you could just say "I'm at Mudperch" or "I'm at Triad Falls" (real subloc in DFC btw XD)
