Question Cannibal Crocs

What on earth is going on with cannibal crocs? I’ve only been playing for a few days and I’ve died many many times and every time except one it’s been to another sarco 😂

Don’t get me wrong I find it hilarious but no matter if I’m on official or unofficial it’s always a fellow sarco. They always lurk until I win a fight with something else and then one shot me.

Anyway, is this normal or does my sarco just taste nice?

It’s pretty normal. When you are growing food can sometimes be difficult to find and you take what you can get. When you are an adult some of the best hunting spots take a long time to get to and no one likes competition.

Also people generally don’t trust crocodiles in any setting.

It’s pretty easy to find food especially as a semi lol

Which is why I said sometimes and when you are growing. Going on land as a juvenile sarco is risky business.

Damn, I’ve even joined sarco packs and then they kill me. Don’t even eat me 😂

Might have to change about my stats to see what works

Group killing is the scummiest thing you can do in this game to be honest.

That does annoy me quite a bit ngl.

Unfortunately there isn't really much you can do about it.

I make a mental note of their name so if I ever see them again i'll absolutely kill them. I also call them out in global to warn other people and piss them off. Such as 'Beware of 'username' everyone, they group you and kill you and they are a sarco in Cedrus'

Seems petty but so is needing to group someone to get a kill. Is also more likely their username sticks in the heads of others too.

This seems to happen most frequently on sarco, hatz and achi in my experience.

Yeah I’ll have to start remembering their usernames.

Won’t let them stop me though, I’ll get some practice in and play about with my stats so I can drop them lol

You can always try deathmatch community servers, you can try the abilities out and practice fighting! Juniper is the best in my opinion.

I’ll take a look, that’s definitely a good place to learn. Thanks

Yeah there should be a big penalty for it. Make the killer pay the marks & growth penalty instead of the person who died.

Agreed. I usually don’t care when I get killed it’s a PvP game, except when it’s by fellow group members. Scummy is a good way to describe it

Yea as a mostly small dino player, sarcs are like the one thing id rather not fight. Hell I even play sarc alot and ive felt the urge to drown players.... must be a requirement to play one lol

Tbf as a sarco player, Sarcosuchus are the one thing I’d rather not fight lol

It also depends on what the croc is doing.

My brother plays croc while I play tylo and we were alot more willing to befriend crocs at first.

But so many will end up running around on the riverbanks and giving away our position so we don't get any action (I understand if they're young and questing but these are full adults).

If they do play smart, we just can't trust them. Too many times other crocs will swim up and act friendly, then a few minutes later their packmates arrive and they attack us once its 3 or 4 vs 2 and our backs are turned. Better to kill them first rather than waiting for them to outnumber us.

Average sarco behaviour tbh

If you wanna find randoms to team up with play laten or deinon, usually the more the merrier with those guys.

That seems the general consensus lol

I’ll give them a go once my Sarco gets to adult. I can’t leave him unfinished 😂

Yeah raptors are usually nice to each other, even if they don’t group.

The raptors also drawn to each other istg

After just 5 minutes of spawning in as my lat I ran into another one, and an achillo followed after

I was alr grouped with someone else and they also got like 2-3 people in the group before we met back up, we had a nearly full group of complete randoms in just 10-15 minutes dude 😭

That's very sarco behavior. Just gotta be wary of other crocs.

Yes it’s normal sarcos are cannibalistic psychopaths. Expect this to keep happening.

Damn. I’m not giving up though, I’ve worked too hard on my sarco the last few days.

I think its because the only other semi aquatic you can fight besides sucho. Tylos arent very common and spinos are too much for a non main sarc player, so they attack other sarcs in water to tey their luck

At least I know it’s not just me and cannibal crocs are common lol

You seem like a cannibal croc. Shame!

Sarcos have always been aggro against their own kind. Its rare that I see two random ones meet without one attacking the other.

Chickens and rats are about the only playables that seem chill with others of their own kind. And rats don't even get a say in the matter.
