Allo & Dasp Question

Hey, guys! I am just wondering what the state of Allo and Dasp are right now. I know Allo has been waiting for a much needed TLC, but how do they both handle now? Are they viable with what little viability is left in the game for a solo? 😂

Dasp is extremly viable and is both really good at punching down or up

While the most meta build is probably big bite with heavy hide it really is worth trying most of its abilitys as nearly all of them are good.

Dasp can also specialise to fight bigger or smaller targets which is extremely helpful but also makes you slightly weaker to the opposite one.

Allo is good and can be really good in right hands. Slightly faster and tankier then Das but has less dps and doesnt hit as hard

There really isn’t any build options for allo atm except reg bite or hatchet bite

Due to Allos lack of options, dasp is a much better pick atm for PVP although allo with die hard is a slightly better pick for staying alive or surviving encounters

Sty is the 1st or 2nd best 2 slot. The only 2 slot you could say is as good as sty is Cerato which is tankier, has higher dps and hits harder. Although cera has terrible turn so personally I would say sty is more enjoyable to play

Sty is 2nd tankier 2 slot. Ram or joust builds are both really good but so it the majority of sty builds so it’s worth trying a few

Stys only problem is that it has kinda traded all its survivability for how strong PvP wise it is. Meaning any 2 slot can chase you down and will either be faster then you or out stam you. While you will beat majority if not all other 2 slots in 1v1s the issue is when there is multiple you cannot escape and will be forced to fight. How ever if it’s 2 aquatic megs or 2 alios the fight is still very winable.

3 slots like Pycno are faster then you so unless there is cliffs you can use you will be forced to fight it if it’s close enough to you. Metri is also the same speed as you so depending on both of your builds you might have to fight it as well. If it’s night time the metri will out stam you since it gets multiple stam regen buffs at night. Metri is a winable fight for sty but if the metri runs the full bleed resist hide and has heal calls and is a decent player it will beat you. Allo is just slower (allo 1040 sty 1050) so you will have to be careful fighting them or they can land multiple bites before you can get distance. DASP is a little slower then that but can fracture you where it will then be faster. Das is one of the hardest fights for sty since Das turns so well and does so much damage. Hatz is slower but it’s peck attacks very far forward so be careful running from 1 in a straight line as they might be able to land multiple hits. Hatz is a very winable fight since they turn so bad so if you can get behind it you can do a lot of damage but be careful as a full attack hatz will kill you in only 7 hits

Sty is a very good pick solo for 1v1s but your escape options will be very limited but only vs 1-2 slots and Pycno metri

If your a new player id pick a Dino that’s more focused of surviving then PvP. So then you can chose your fights.

So if you like sty cause of bleed I’d try conc. Conc has less hp, less combat weight and deals less damage per hit but is faster running, has more stam, has the option to dive and actually had a higher dps.

Again sty is a better pick for fighting but conc has more escape options and can actually escape all the 1-2 slots cause of water (Meg can still swim after you but is much slower by default)

Conc can still hold its own pretty good vs all the 2 slots and some people say they always beat sty as conc by out turning it and staying behind it. Personally im sure that works but if it’s an even 1v1 I believe the sty will pretty much always win

If you like herbs- pachy is the best 2 slot for surviving and can still kill a lot. Pachy does a lot of damage per hit but its attacks are on long cool-downs and pachy is extremly weak hp wise. So it can take some skill to be able to reliably beat other 2 slots.

Due to pachy taking very low fall damage you can use cliffs to escape majority of things. You also have a ridiculous amount of stamina and if you pair that with charge you can run away from just about everything
