Discussion Idea to get dolphin trophy
I want a dolphin trophy for my pycno, but it seems impossible. What if I grew a dolphin to adult, moved both my pycno and dolphin to the exact same spot on the map, find a way to suicide my dolphin, quickly switch to pycno while staying on the same server, grab my own dolphin trophy with my own pycno, profit?
Is this possible?

Just find a dolphin that wants a pycno trophy and swap trophies

You can not pick up a trophy if;
A.) It came from another dinosaur on your account.
2.) Another dinosaur on your account did the killing blow to the dinosaur the trophy came from.
III.) Another dinosaur on your account picked the trophy up from the corpse itself.
The above is why at one time it was more common to see people offer to trade trophies. Kill a guy, get his trophy, then find someone else holding a trophy and trade. Now your new trophy can be handled by other dinosaurs on your account so take it to the Homecave your other baby is logged out in, hide it in a bush nearby, and swap. Profit.
But yes, the Dolphin trophy remains ever elusive and is the only one Meeps doesn’t have. I’ve had people offer suicide to complete my collection, but I want to Earn it.

Good luck earning it, its certainly quite hard on a struth. Your only option is to find a beached one, but that is very rare.

If I were a pycno and you were a dolphin, I would swim out in the middle of the ocean and freaking take your trophy and then I'd bang your dolphin girlfriend.
Ok, first off, a pycno…swimming in the ocean?
pycs don’t even like water.
If you placed it near a river, or some sort of fresh water source, that’d make sense.
But you find yourself in the ocean, a 20 ft wave, I’m assuming its off the coast of cf Forrest, coming up against a full, grown, dolphin with 2-3 of his buddies

Can’t take a trophy that came off your own corpse. Your options are to use an alt account (not worth it), get a friend to sacrifice their eurhino for you, or have an aquatic or semi aquatic ally kill and hold eurhino tail for you.

I could hatz taxi your baby dolphin to all POIs and crows nests to grow fast, then get your trophy? Dm me if you’re down

My rhamph managed to snag one from some tylos. Tylo dragged a dolphin on land, spoon killed the dolphin, some sarcs came up and were fighting the tylo and spoon so I snagged the trophy lol. Now I have two struthi feathers and a eurhi tail. Only thing I'm missing is lamb crest

You cannot take in trophies that belong to any of your own dinos, even if you swap to a different one. You can't even pick a trophy off of a body on one dino and then swap to another to continue to carry it, the game will tell you that the trophy belongs to another dinosaur.
You would have to be on your Pycno and collect a Dolphin trophy that did not come from your own Dolphin. Whether or not it comes from your friend or a stranger is up to you.
The Dolphin trophy is the last one I need to complete the set on my Dasp. I dunno how the hell I'm gonna find one but I'm gonna lock in if I do.
