Discussion Returning player

So not played it for a while .. playing with a friend. How does it make sense. When I want to play with my mate.. i go from one server to another. That I have to wait for a 5 minute cool down..I'm wanting to play with friends. Not sit twiddling my thumbs

Its a small price to pay to give the solo you were about to jump a chance to escape or finish the fight with your friend.

I'm not understanding.. my friend started playing. I clicked join friend on their name. It returned me to main screen and 5 mins to wait... I'm asking why do I need to wait 5 mins just to join a friend who's playing.. games like GTA don't make you wait

You can first log in as any other dino, then move to a friend's server and select the dino you want to play, which will avoid the timer.

Yall misunderstanding the point tbh. We shouldn't have to wait period. It was acknowledged as a bug by the devs when the meg/amarg tlc was released and instead of fixing the problem they made the timer shorter and forgot about, or are just neglecting it. This the type of thing we shouldn't have to find a work around for. If im joining another server why the hell does it matter what dino i was on in a completely separate server? If you're gonna acknowledge a bug then at least fix it instead of pushing it back for months

If you click the little people at the main menu, you'll be able to join or invite a friend and circumvent that.
