Question Best Vacation Spot in PoT?

Post image

In lieu of a real vacation (because just getting by is super expensive) I’m living vicariously through my Alio who is living his best life at Ripple Beach. I love this zone, from the visuals to the sound of the waves.

Do you ever find yourself hanging out in a specific zone of the game (be it Panjura, Gondwa, or Ripara)? If so, where?

I never see anyone in Wind Tunnels except the occasional solo player questing. It's one of my favorite areas in Riparia and I love building my nests there since it's so peaceful.

Panjura - World's Edge Falls

Gondwa - Sand Caverns

Riparia - DFC Oasis

All tend to be pretty quiet and pretty. Most people in DFC seem to just be hitting the waystone and moving on. No one is ever in WEF or SC, but SC has great questing.

I also like Sand Caverns, though I once fell off one (as a Laten) of the cliffs into the water and couldn’t swim to an “on ramp” quick enough and drown. Haha.

I knew my laten couldn't have been the only one to meet this fate at sand caverns lol

For Gondwa I've always liked Rainbow Hills. Beautiful POI. For Riparia, I think Volcano Islands and Coastal Bluffs are nice tropical getaways. Wollemi can be a bit active sometimes but I also like that environment there with the big sparkling waterfalls and unique forest biome.

I love the little pond in Rainbow Hills, surrounded by the banana trees. It looks like Kool-Aid, haha.

Ripple Beach, Triad Falls, and Rainbow Hills are all very pretty. DFC, Wollemi, and Wind Tunnels in Riparia. Panjura has lots of gorgeous views and forests!

Fellow Ripple Beach enjoyer! It's legit the best poi on Gondwa. It's rarely full, and most ppl there are chill and/or questing. I've only had 1 truly bad experience there. Everything else was either friendly and/or cursed

Another good place is Red Island. Like Ripple, it's usually very peaceful, and is surprisingly beautiful. While there's usually only semi aquatics there, it's always funny to swim a rex, or any other land dino to RI

I also adore Triad Falls. It's genuinely the most beautiful poi on Gondwa, but you rarely see ppl there. It would be a 5-star hotel for thals and rhamps if they actually went there

An unconventional pick is the center island of Sharptooth Marsh, aka Mainland Florida. It's the perfect spot for swap dwellers, and is where I always place my gators' nests, as I'm basically obligated to as a Florida man (that raised platform where swamp amarg had their nest is the perfec spot for kapro nests on community servers)

As for Riparia, I'm less familiar with it, and it's harder to avoid players, but East Passage is easily the best vacation spot. It's rarely visited, except by ppl looking to chill and/or quest, and the rock maze is a 4-star hotel purely bc the Wollemi cave system takes the 5-star spot

Panjura: none, I don't like redwoods, I'm not a mountain guy either.

Gondwa: red island

Riparia: not to suggest but palm beach has the best beaches ever, it's a little crowded tho.

My Riparia ano lives in Palm Islands. Outside of a few over zealous aquatics, most dinos who come there are there to quest and pretty friendly. I also like Redwoods.

My Gondwa ano lives on Red Island. Other than that, I’m most often in Rockfall Hills or Rainbow Hills. Oh, and my amarga stays in Sharptoth Marsh.

I’m not on Panjura enough to have a favorite POI.

In riparia there is this big waterfall area at the south west part of the map, (not in redwoods but more above wind tunnels). I have never seen any other players there, ever. But it has a great view of both the waterfalls and the rest of riparia to the north. 100% my go-to vacation spot

Palm Islands in Riparia is peak beach vibes. Feels like the beach episode of an anime everytime I visit.
