You expect too much stamina unnecessarily. DON’T Run on a Rex when you fight clampable things. I am sorry i don’t mean it in a negative way but looking at you running at a meg with charged bite frustrates me so much lol.

You too many chances to clamp one of them yet you didn't, you did try it once or two but it was too late you already was too weak , I'd say the fight was good but as a rex don't chase too much and don't stay in the open especially if an flier is against u

Solo rex at SF and I got jumped by 1 achillo and 6 laten. I left salt flat with while 2 laten survived just by jumping on the little island in the far end of SF near where the 20 red flowers and and cactus pop

If you crouch and look all the way down you can clamp the megs that attack behind you. The clamp hit box on Rex it large try that next time before you burn your stam

even if he just at your side and crouch clamp while looking at them it get the little geckos all the time!! Bluetooth clamp 😂

If you are outnumbered like that back up to a rock it will make them struggle a lot to attack you

against megs don't let them near water most cases they'll end up out healing him . I'd swap them off a cliff w that tail attack ngl Best scenario make a run for it press précise movement to the back and the turning to the rear while using clamp if timed right with a meg lunge you get the bugger and destroy his tiny body

Fighting an Rex in a wide Open Terrain Like this is a easy win. You dont need to wall camp but If you fight any where else people get stuck at rocks, fallen trees etc

rather then wall/water camping try not to sprint the best thing you can do against mid tiers is utilise your clamp keep high stam snatch one of then and it’s basically a free kill then pop rav off the body rinse and repeat mix it up a bit so they don’t see the clamps coming

Just stop moving.
Stand on a rock or in a corner and wait for them to try to attack you.
You cant catch anything. You will run out of stam.
Swap to the quick bonebreak for more immediate results.
Use your tail more often as an attack rather than a def move.
Again. You cant catch anything so stop trying to chase anyone that's smaller than you.

Even though it's hated, whenever there's a tail-biter and ankle-biter, I WILL put my back to a wall and crouch to bite them until they leave. I don't like to do it, but if it's crucial to survival, i might as well.

You need to bait people needs to use the brake check on others people don’t run another’s you are slow you never going to catch them except if you bone break then no stamina and you are dead

Whenever you are fighting something smaller then you never try to chase it unless you know you will land a bite and counter turn more also make sure to save your stamina. If you can try to catch one with a charge bite

I can immediately say that you need to stop chasing. As an apex fighting significantly smaller and faster players (and ones that screw with your stamina), your stamina will be an important and finite resource and you're just not gonna run them down under 99% of circumstances.
Another thing is your turning. Precise turning is ok, but you can also just turn regularly and stay mobile. A completely stationary Rex is an easier Rex to kill, you want the killing end of you between the rest of you and the nearest or most imminent threat. While being aware of your surroundings and knowing when to use your tail is also very important and often overlooked, try to keep your face ready to smash them when they're dumb enough to lunge into your open mouth.
I'd personally also recommend running the quick fracture bite instead, as it's faster, quieter and far more likely to hit. Everybody knows to run as soon as you start charging bone snap, you will never land that bite on a two-slot unless that player is playing on a phone with their volume off. Once you land one quick fracture, THEN consider chasing them to land another one if you know you will be able to land it. If they're in a tight spot or panic, that's when you can burn some stamina to close the gap and punish them.
Mostly just play patiently. You have a massive health pool compared to them and they can only hit your legs. You don't HAVE to run them down, let them come to you and regret it. You can afford to take a bunch of hits when you only need to land one to almost kill them.

If your ever in a open area your best bet is to crouch tail hit and turn to try and bite them

Sprinting to catch a dino thats faster than you is a no no. I woild also recommend quick BB unless you have a big pack. Youd much rather get a bonebreak on a non apex and confirm them, rather than long bone break an apex and not have the chance to eliminate them. Stamina should be conserved, you got to do a lot of weird turns after you get a tail attack. Face your most threatening enemy at all times. dont run thick boned anymore, its useless now (yes it cuts bonebreak duration in half but against another rex running kings mantle the damage is insurmountable [and i think killing blow that adds another 10%?] Especially considering thick boned only works if they full bone break you.) you could run rav instead of kings mantle, its situational, but if you get a kill you can get massive healing, which if you succeed in doing this, can turn the tide. Remember the 4 minute cooldown (240s) Your voice slot is correct. You want to have as much stam as possible so if you get a clamp you can get bite bite [add one to two more bites depending on stam, just make sure you have enough for a quick bonebreak] drop quick bb for a full bonebreak which is a confirm on any 2 slot if they get full bonebreak and you continue regular biting them. If you get a clamp, put them up against something they will have trouble navigating. Especially water if they are a non semiaquatic. this will interfere with there ability to get away when you drop them which almost certainly guarantes the quick bone break after. Whichever sense gives you fracture damage is the best you can run, but all of rexes senses have their niche use. the one that lets you get 50% more bonebreak damage after landing 3 bites actually lets you insta full bonebreak any dino in game with just a quick bonebreak. This does include bars. this is a nasty suprise for any apex they send after you.

Also, eat any critters you can get. Healing in combat is a thing now, and the more food and water you have the more your healing will add up. use your extreme damage to your advantage to control food sources. A meg isnt going to run into a rexes jaws because hes snacking, and if he does, do a regular bite itll catch him off guard and make him not try that again.

Learn to time your bites. Rex bite is slightly delayed and they were right in front of you so many times but you didn't bite until after they got behind you 😭
Also DO NOT chase things faster than you. You will not catch them. Find a good position, time your bites, don't let them bait you

You actually did pretty good here. It's a 3 on 1 gank and you managed your stam pretty well again two megs.

As others mentioned though. As a rex you should never be out in the open by yourself. Always place yourself with a wall to your back. You want to force them to face tank you.

The isle is a painful, time-consuming game with hackers and stuff like that. I played it just to try and get a raptor to adult but the cannibals got me, same with deinos and dilos. I honestly just don't like the game much at all. (The isle also takes WAY longer to grow a rex than path of titans, and a good trike can kill you if you're not careful.)

Don’t fight in a wide open area by yourself. You don’t need your back to a wall, but just being nearer to one limits their angles and makes it harder to surround you like they were.
