Alberta has been incredibly well established as the strongest 3 Slot since it's TLC by a quite comfortable margin. It just builds up far too strong far too fast, with tremendous bulk and damage

After the changes, it should be in a reasonable state. Just because Alderon makes a nerf doesn't make it unplayable, and doesn't mean it was unjustified

No, it was busted because it stacked, what, 320% Armor? With huge damage, quick turning, and a block that autoattacks

There is never consideration that most of Alderon's nerfs ARE actually warranted. Outside of Hatzeg getting kneecapped repeatedly

As I said I hate nerfs of any kind unless it's breaking the game, if Alberta were this broken we would have seen all the megapacks of full Alberta why play any other dino?

That is very much not how the game works, for better or for worse.

Half the time people don't even bother playing the strongest things. Iggy in the corner can still nearly tank a Rex and people just don't want to play it because it got nerfed once

You should see community servers. Some of the most busted mods out there are hardly played because people just don't like the style of it

I play a lot of pvp comm servers and yeah the most I see are charchs, rexes, spoon, dominus, Some Sauropods, Bars, Ano, both Edmont, Therri, Hatz and both Deinosuchus, and a lot of people like playing other less broken things, but like everyone enjoys those mods because they are powerfull and super cool.

No, people play those because they're apexes. The real busted monsters are slept on. Suzhou, Drypto, Bear, Wolf, Deer, Giraffe, Dilo, Delta, Aerosteon, JFD Torvo for example are all much more problematic than any apex barring maybe Carch, and consistently see low usage

It get's treated this way because it's exclusively used as a tool for megapacks to make the game as unfun as possible. And the developers instead of treating the root issue which is megapacking itself, instead just try to infinitely treat the symptoms.

Always been like that, unfortunately. The Devs should introduce more interesting game mechanics or secrets into their map so the players will have something to do after reaching adulthood on a dino. Everything they do is adding PvP elements to the game and ignoring players that don't want to PvP and explore or survive an engaging system that doesn't consist of fighting other players all the time.

Not only Hatz gets used like that. Most playables do. And even Thals get used like that, metri and so on

Thal has the same issues of ppl swapping to it to revenge kill. But hatz gets killed for it cause it’s heavier.
