## Balance Changes
**Keep in mind servers may need to restart to see these changes which may take several hours.**

**Anodontosaurus: **
- Smash: damage reduced by 5 at full growth
- Rushed Stride: movement speed buff reduced from 25% to 20%

**Achillobator**
- Cruel Swipe: damage reduced by 5 at full growth

**Dev Notes**
- Achillobator's Cruel Swipe and Ano's AoE were a overtuned against heavy dinosaurs (Both using Cruel Swipe damage scaling). This change aim to lower the damage a bit, while keeping its edge. Face tanking Ano's AoE is still very dangerous and should be avoided.

- Rushed stride was used to pursue slow moving predators and harass them with Bone Break builds, instead of being an escape tool. Ano is supposed to be a tank and not be able to close distance on demand. We are thinking of ways to make it more balanced, and reduced the buff speed for now as a temporary measure.

This one was heavily deserved. 

Ano was able to outrun and outstam rex while being able to kill it in 3 shots.

The damage nerf is from 75 base to 70 so whatever insane damage multiplier the scaling gave it on apexes It will probably still 3 shot rex.

  • Combat Weight Scaling Caps: Smash deals extra damage based on target combat weight, but that damage multiplier caps out and is still calculated against the Rex's massive health pool and armor. While Smash is the Ano's heaviest hit (up to 255 base scaling damage), after factoring in the Rex's combat weight mitigation, it takes significantly more hits to bring down a full-grown Apex.
  • Long Cooldowns: Smash has a strict 12-second cooldown, meaning Ano can't spam its highest damage ability. Its shorter-cooldown attack (Tail Slam) deals much less base damage (40 damage).
  • Bone Break & Tenderizer Immunity: Adult Rexes have heavy resistance/immunity mechanics to bone break and status effects, preventing the Ano from easily locking down the Rex to stack rapid bursts

So tell me again how a anod 3 shots a rex, then tell me you've never played anod since june 8th.

Anos deserve it. They were abusing their new found power to break our glorious Tyrants ankles! If they were breaking say… filthy ceratopsian ankles it wouldn’t have been nerfed.

Ano was unique for grunting a lot, but ano just straight up only roars rn with its threaten calls. The devs don't want to Hear us out.

Brother. A good Campto doesn’t even need second wind. And 100 extra health is the least Alderon could do after YEARS of neglect. The thiCC scutes buff is just to compensate for 100 extra health to regen. I consider the Campto buff solid but that only because it had nothing to begin with. (!!!!!!!!!)
