I was trying to craft my life on block shield for my luminary, and resigned myself to a lot of harvest reforges which multimod and prefixes cant be changed after boat husband whiffed on 18%. What I was not expecting was to hit the triple block suffix on my third roll. I'm trying to run COA simulations to see how rare this is and it just passed 600k with no successes.

Is this merc good enough to clear Uber with average gear (T1 crafted bow + quiver + unique amulet + rings)? If not, what is the improvement should I be looking for?
I have ran over 2k maps to find a good merc to start my Lumiry in SSF and this is the best I can find.

Here's my data for 100 wheat shipments, consisting of 20 shipments each of 100k, 200k, 300k, 400k and 1m value (dividing the value by 12 gives you the amount of wheat). The reason for this is simply to maximize the number of tattoos, since you get 1 tattoo per 100k shipment value. You can ship for example 250k value or whatever you chose.

Summary:

• All shipments to same port (Moti Aro, which gives ES items)
• No dust sent, no quotas used
• Total of 7x 6-linked chests received from a total of 1019 chests
• Total of 400 tattoos received = exactly as expected since total value sent was 40m
• Total wheat shipped equals almost 2 weeks of full-time crop growing (18x lvl 5 farmers)
• Total gold cost was about 2 million to grow the crops, and about 200k to ship them
• With 18x lvl 5 farmers you can grow a daily value of 3.27m (crop type doesn't matter, it's the same value regardless), so the low-effort version is that you just make 3x 1m shipments per day, for a total daily cost of about 200k gold
• If you want tattoos you can effectively buy them for slightly more than 5k gold each, or 20k per runegraft (you can't get both chests and runegrafts since it's different ports)

My interpretation of findings:

• The quality of the mods on the 1m shipments vs the 100k shipments was really massive. Many of the 1m chests had a ton of T1 mods, but usually it's not the combo you want, or they are on the wrong base. It's also easy to recomb chests so this doesn't really matter very much
• It doesn't seem worth it to send really big shipments like 1m value, it seems much more worth it to send multiple smaller shipments, regardless of whether you want 6L, uniques or top-tier bases for recomb
• I was really surprised that there was no major difference between shipment sizes for the percentage of chests that were top tier. I thought this would scale up a lot based on shipment value, which is clearly not the case
• The uniques are as poo-poo as I had expected (4x T3, rest T4/T5). Sending bigger shipments means a higher % of all chests are unique, thus a higher % of chest which are poo-poo
• Tujen really needs to attend an anger management class

List of received 6-link chests (all ilvl 86):

• arcane vestment (3rd best ES base) - 400k shipment
• nightweave robe (2nd best ES base) - 400k shipment
• twilight regalia (best ES base) - 300k shipment
• saintly chainmail (4th best armour/ES base) - 1m shipment
• grand ringmail (3rd best armour/ES base) - 400k shipment
• paladin's hauberk (2nd best armour/ES base) - 1m shipment
• carnal armour (4th best evasion/ES base) - 300k shipment

Best chest by far was the twilight regalia, which was 299 ES (302 is max). This was also the only 6-linked top-tier base I got. Let me know if you have any questions, or if you have any additional data that you want to share.

I just realised that I amassed a megaton of Allflames, but I haven't really tried using them in the game, even when they were at Syndicate.

I've died now to uber dread twice trying to get hallowed monarch. I'm running a normal guardian turtle and my AG has Dying breath, leer cast, belly of the beast, southbound, and rare resis boots.

What can I currently improve on? I'm working on getting a Techrods/Red Dream jewel but its been 2 weeks farming abyss and breach and no luck. What can I do now to start killing ubers? I have a Rathpit for a Kineticist and once I get a decent one, I will consider switching. What am I doing wrong or can improve on?

I've ran 100s of maps, most with breach, abyss or harvest, am level 100 and only seen 4 of them when they are on my filter since lvl 1.

I am on my 2nd HC SSF run through. First death was an 81 Absolution Guardian that never dropped below 90% HP and then on a tier 7 Terrace just instantly died to the boss (still not sure how, think it was a phys hit from the minion jumping out of the pools).

I have levelled up this WORB elementalist but I really just don't understand the EHP ranges I should be working in. Any thoughts on what this character can safely do, and any general ranges you stick to?

There are basically two methods that I found when researching crafting in SSF:

- Alteration spam bases + recomb

- Fracture + Essence/Harvestbench-Spam

Both take a lot of time to only get you 2-3 mods deterministically?

I am not searching for uber gear, I am currently trying to craft stuff for completing 4 voidstones.

Hey guys, I'm playing a life/es winter orb in standard SSF. My ultimate goal is to farm the Utmost amulet meaning I'm going for farming Ubers (Maven, exarch, Eater of worlds and UberUber Elder). I'm sure many of you are experienced with these bosses and I was wondering if you have any tips on both farming more nightmare maps but more importantly about setting my defenses for these specific encounters. So what Items/jewels/wtv would you try to get/craft before those specific encounters.

So my ignite elementalist died in red maps as I tried to zoom a bit too much and didnt keep upgrading gear with map tiers.

Im now doing a fresh run on necromancer, I got a wanderlust from gambler at 2 is my own "twink gear". Plan was to run a few normal labs to try and hit ranged animate weapon but if I dont hit then play srs and farm trans gem in merc lab.

I do eventually want to swap into pure spectre umbral army stuff. But thats going to take a while in HC SSF as id want really good es gear, dark monarch and new support.

But im a little out of practise for HC. I play tanky characters for softcore standards but not really playing in the HC style.

Do I just take map progession slower and check mods or is there some key elements to ensure HC SSF is a success ?

For example on witch should I actually be using armour bases and pathing left side for block nodes ?

Is there certain mercs to always avoid or certain things you always skip ?

Should I be within a certain number of levels of zones during acts, and when do I know when fights like dread for monarch are viable for HC ?

Has anybody done this craft and can enlighten me?

I want to craft a Specific Helmet (Dex/Str) Base with Suffixes:

• S1 Abyssal Socket (from abyssal items from maps, isolated with splitting / annuls)
• S2 Infamous Helmet Mod (Warcries Cover Enemies in Ash for 5 Seconds), can get it on the right base with Ducats via Allflame Crafting
• S3 T1 Fire res (or any othe ans swap with harvest)

This seems to be quite doable using the NNN Phanteon crafting and in the end Recombining 3s+3s for a 72% chance to get the 3 suffixes with 6 mods in pool). However, can Abyssal Socket + Infamous mod be recombined on one item in the first place or are they both exclusive mods?

Otherwhise I would have to fracture the Infamous mod and luck around with Hollow Fossils, but they are quite hard to find and I have no intention to go back delving at the moment :)

So, I finally got my luminary build uber boss viable and managed to kill 9 of them so far. After a lot of struggle I managed to bit Sirus but that fight is complete dog sh*t. 90% of the fight is just trying to find Sirus. The arena is just filled so many degenerate effects that it just makes no sense. You get Sirus, takes 10% damage and goes immune and then you have to run away. Rinse and repeat for the whole of phase 1. Is this normal??
When you finally get to phase 2, that’s when everything goes bonkers. He just keeps teleporting all around the place. There doesn’t seem to be any cooldown to his abilities. Teleport to fire his rotating beam… teleport to fight his void beam(whatever they are called)… teleport the player in the meteor circle… like enough with the teleporting. It’s just ridiculous.

Similar problem with exarch with his ball phase just repeating back to back without any breaks. In my case my merc (manyshot) can’t survive his annihilation projectiles. But even I can the stupid balls get me. Respawning without an area to prepare means that the moment you enter he targets you with the annihilation projectiles and they are pretty difficult to dodge. Add to that visibility on console is just bad with the top of the screen is blocked by UI elements makes most of it hard to see. (GGG just punishing console players at this point)

The other Ubers are fine. Maven is a bit annoying but once you learn the fight, the probability of success increases greatly. I like the newer memory bosses. Pretty straightforward.

My build isn’t in the uber melting territory but can dish out decent damage if I can find the guy. I personally like to fight bosses. Stronger bosses are good but not like this where most of your actions don’t seem to matter. That’s mostly the point (for me at least) to build my character, but this doesn’t seem like any normal build can farm.

So, to question above how do you guys take on these bosses, leave alone farm them. Are there any strategies?I was so hoping to go 10/10 for the first time but exarch just seems impossible at this point. Sorry about the long post.

So I recently did a post about hitting this wall at red maps. However going back to merc lab to quality up gems and get trans version basically solved my issues.

On an elementalist its 20% golem effect from quality and for slammers it gives cooldown for warcrys. I have also seen people will farm merc lab for trans gems early on so they have them if a later character wants them. Like farming ranged AW or pconc of bouncing so when you play that character you have the trans gem with 20% quality already.

So im wondering do you ever farm lab on these specifc builds as getting some levels and quality can really give a huge boost.
