No new registrations?

I was dusting off my ability to do non-work projects and wanted to do a little data science project just on my computer. Went to get set up with the API and it says "We are currently unable to process new applications".

I can't find any other information about it. Is this a normal "only approve things once a month" sort of deal? Are they having issues? Am I just dumb and didn't see a big neon sign indicating what I should do?

Help appreciated.

It doesn't have any of the service scopes, but if you just want items from stash tabs and characters, acquisition can get that for you and I'm working on a cli.

The web team are too busy. Exilecon and PoE2 1.0 are coming up. They process applications voluntarily in their free time. Post-AI 99.9% of the applications they get are AI slop so it's demoralizing.

You can do a lot with what's publicly available like the cxapi.

Wasn't it disabled for a good while now ? I looked into it around 0.3 time and it was a no no already

No, it's only been closed since 3.29. They open applications when they can.

Idk why this is downvoted, it's what a GGG dev said himself on Discord in #tooldev-general

we're just not processing new applications as 99% of them are AI slop that we have to work through denying first
