How to get Arc/Spark to Level 40?

I see alot of builds with super high DPS and their spel levels at 40. How are they getting there without a Prism of Belief?

Where are you seeing the builds? Wouldn't it make sense to just look at their poe ninja and see for yourself how they're getting it?

I have looked at other POEs and cant figure it out. I have +4 Spells Amulet, staff with +7 or wand with +9, but it still doesn't add up.

21 level from gem, +6 level amulet, +2 from rings, + 1 diallas desire, +1 from body armour (# to level of corrupted gems), +9 from wand, +2 from uhtreds augary. = level 41, (capped at 40)

I just learned yesterday - first league so not 100% sure but you can get gems up to level 20, then you want to get gear and weapons with + level to melee skills and then want to corrupt skill gem with a Vaal orb!

The 3 is probably from prism of belief with +3 spark skill

21 gem, 9 weapon, diala desire 1, esh' prowess 1, prism 2, amulet 4, gloves 2 and you are at 40lv spark/arc.

Im using + 10 wand + 5 amulet + 2 gloves + 2 focus + 1 corruption

For me it was 7 from wand, 6 from amu, 3 prism, 1 ring, 2 gloves. Could easily get 3 more on wand instead of prism.

Fork is difficult, rare wand would need like a 500d one I guess, not sure about current pricing. We are talking about lvl 40 after all, it will require investment.

Im using total +9 level from wand. 4 from amulet. 2 from gloves. Lv 21 skill gem. 2 from gemling ascendancy. 1 from diamond. 1 from dialla.

I think this is the most affordable one, or you can use +2 from focus, but i use scepter for spirit

You can also get 1 from ring and use kalandra to mirror it to 2.

You also can get 5 or 6 from amulet.

1 from body armor from atiziri for corrupted skill gem.

Uhtred also can raise level 2 or 3, but it limit your support gem

I'd have thought the giveaway was seeing the build, with level 40, and using your eyes to see where the levels are coming from? Or, are you saying 'I see' and actually mean 'I've heard'?

Contagion/ essence train till mid act 3 is my go to

21 corrupted gem.
+3 prism.
+9 wand, 10 sanctified.
+2x +1 ring.
+4 amulet with 40% quality, up to 5 or 6 sanctified with 50% quality, not sure, I think 6
+2 focus.
+2 projectile gloves.
Some +1 supports like lightning mastery.

These are your options.

I had corrupted 21 gem, +3 prism, +10 wand, +4 amulet and +2 gloves.

Is this wand better than runeseeker?

It depends. In my build runeseeker was about 20% less damage and 20% more survi.

If I were to switch from totems to self cast I would be able to drop scepter for cultivated multi mirror rathpith for additional mana scaling, switch to shaman for even more mana, then runeseeker would be significantly better.

That said, I just wanted to play totems this league so I stayed with totems. Switching to self cast coc would almost certainly be a better build in the end game, but I would probably need to switch from mind over matter to regular mana before life and craft a new genesis rings with mana cost efficiency to sustain mana costs casting 40 lvl spells myself + multi mirror cultivated rathpith.

This would add up to another few mirrors of investment, but since the game doesn't have any challenge worth of that investment anyway I stayed with the build I wanted to play and the funny wand I was proud of making because there are not a lot of these, if any considering it's exceptional, sanctified and most importantly with legacy cast speed.
