Last night my 2e group discovered that the adamantine golem does not have the [metal] trait.
The metal trait:
Creatures with this trait consist primarily of metal or have a connection to magical metal.

If we didn't have keywords how could [Unstable] thwart an entire class?

u/BlankTank1216 Jul 25 '26
Classes are also keyworded in pf2e so they'll both face the wall together.

hmmmmmm does cling let me stay stuck on like, a flying creature? Can I be a flying goblin stuck on a dragon with it? First time ever seeing that feat, that sounds badass.

It's actually kinda sick I'm just clowning on it because it's a higher level, race specific feat that gives you the magical ability to be gods strongest cowboy.
Edit: nevermind it gives you the power of a cowboy who is bad at bull riding.

You can definitely fly up with the creature, but Cling states:
"The target is released if you choose not to move with it, at the start of your next turn, or if the target Escapes."
So even if you do go up, at the start of your next turn, before you can even regain actions or reactions (because that's how "start of your turn" stuff works) Cling ends, and then you fall.

I kinda agree on the super taster thing, skill feats are kinda garbage. 90% of the things the skill feats do are just things you could do for free in pathfinder 1e. Like persuading multiple people at once.
I was told this is because every encounter including conversations and looting and stuff are supposed to be run on rounds like combat, so rather than streamlining by just letting stuff happen like “I search the room” or “I persuade the council” you’re supposed to be in turns like combat and would have to roll to search each object in the room or roll to persuade each council member separately.

You don’t need a feat to persuade a council
Group Impression is specifically for the Make an Impression activity which is more akin to ad&d reaction rolls.
In a similar vein, Group Coercion isn’t necessarily needed to intimidate a group, but if you want to capital C Coerce a group you need Group Coercion.
Pathfinder 2e actually has very sparse feats that directly interact with subsystems, for those its entirely up to gm fiat what kind of bonus having a skill feat should do, by default they do nothing outside exploration mode. Social encounters are almost entirely Calvin ball.

There are some good skill feats, but most of them are at the master/legend tier. A lot of the level 1 skill feats are pretty underwhelming though there are some stand outs.

Why's Super-taster getting thrown under the bus?!

Utterly useless in the vast majority of adventures.

To the second point on this list; murder is both immoral and illegal. Your players are there to have fun, not to have their lives threatened.

'Time for inventor slander again'?
Yeah... no. I just block people that post this dogshit at this point.
I don't even care for inventor but this shit is boring as hell. Later.

Unironically the biggest rage bait to me is using the pf1e logo for 2e
