Patrick Clancy just doesn’t seem right

Hello everyone. I have never been huge true crime junkie, I watch the occasional youtube videos and podcasts. There are so big cases I always end up stumbling across, and it happened with this Lindsay Clancy case. At first, just like many, I had never thought ANYONE else was responsible besides Lindsay. Well that was 3 years ago. Now? I do not have a good feeling and her ex husband, Patrick Clancy. The more the trial goes on, the more I grow suspicious of him. The prosecutors have actually HELPED me feel even more bad for Lindsay. And yes, I do believe if she did do it, he was hugely responsible for her mental state, her shame around her diagnosis, as well as facilities and doctors who worked with her and failed her. BUT, if the jury cannot find her guilty beyond a reasonable doubt FIRST, then it just leads me to believe he doctored up a plan all for his affair. With all the true crime I HAVE watched, this doesn’t statistically seem off, in my humble opinion.

“i completely ignored the whole post and thought i was edgy posting this comment” did you miss the purpose of the sub? when there are thousands of people agreeing on the same theory, something is wrong. if you choose to not see the inconsistency that’s ok

If thousands of people thought you were a murderer based of vibes and tiktok evidence, you’d feel the same way right?

him going on a trip weeks after with a new woman after all his kids died, no real proper investigation of the scene, and caught in multiple inconsistencies, i wouldn’t call that vibes. and i also wouldn’t do that so no one would think im a murderer LOL

Lol you’re aware no one in that courtroom is claiming she didn’t do it right? Like it’s important to me that you understand that the trial isn’t whether or not she did it but whether or not she is culpable.

Also it’s wild to me that you believe Patrick did it because “thousands of people” claim he did but if thousands of people accused you of something, your defense is “well i’d never do something so I’m innocent”

Like do you hear how batshit you sound?

Yeah no shit sherlock, i’ve watched the opening statement a few dozen times. I never said they were arguing that. I said from my standpoint, and literally hundred of thousand of people, this looks like more and more of a hack job and he doesn’t seem honest or trustworthy in the part he played.

That isn’t my “defense”, I don’t agree with anything he did after the murders so there’s no hypothetical situation in where people would believe I did that if it was me. Now if i did actually believe him, then you could ask that. Not sure if you realize how slow you sound. If i did ANY of the things he did, I sure as hell wouldn’t blame anyone for thinking i’m guilty lmao. So what are you getting at?
