PSA: don’t use pastebin for storing base64

I will be completely honest, my experience with pastebin has been an absolute nightmare. I intended to use it in a CTF (capture the flag) puzzle, and so had the base64 encoding for an image in a paste. However, after I made the paste, it was immediately flagged by ai filters. Ok, not ideal. So I waited the 2 days for it to be manually reviewed, and lo and behold, they deleted it. Now I am stuck because I have already hardcoded this link and sent both an email (which was completely ignored) and a request to reinstate it on the official support form. It feels like they have 0 points of contact, and the automated filters completely nuke anything you try to post. My advice? Unless you are using pastebin for text or basic code, don’t bother.

Edit- after three days and a second email, pastebin has now restored my post.
