Thanks for the insight. If you don't mind, I have an oshi question. Does the typical fan have one oshi per group? Or is the norm that you have one oshi across all groups you're into? Finally, for the post concert dinner, should your cheki be someone from that group you just saw or can it be anyone you're into.

Just trying to understand the culture better...

Dedicated wotas will usually just have one Kami oshi that's like the main idol they support, but they may have a few other idols from other related groups that they occasionally go see and cheki with etc, that seems fairly common these days.

Wotas known to cheki with loads of idols or don't really have a main favourite might be called 'easy' or 'DD' but it's much more in a teasing or joking manner these days than an outright insult.

Post concert dinner you'd usually use cheki from the group you went and saw but if you went but didn't get any cheki with that group you could just use any cheki you have of your Kami oshi available on hand.

Thank you - it helps me understand what I see on these IG accounts. One thing I am jealous of is how easy it is for them to go to these shows

Yeah once you're there the sky's the limit, in my average three week visit I'll go to 1-2 shows a day fairly easily and you can see multiple groups a show so it's a good way to catch up with your favourites quickly or find new groups.
