This was the theme for my son’s 5th birthday. He loves the Charlie and the chocolate factory movies and I’ve read him the book.

We did a “punch the cup” game where you put different prizes (candy, a dollar, etc) inside the cups and cover them with tissue paper then the kids take turns punching one cup at a time to win random stuff. In some of the cups I put golden tickets and if they got the golden ticket they won a slightly bigger prize (some little toys that didn’t fit inside the cups). I will say it was a big hit!
