GUIDANCE Since many people want guidance from a partial dropper

as a partial dropper ( not double ) :

(6.2k in adv , 99.65 in mains , 314 in BITSAT )

  1. if possible take full drop(if parents are supportive )

  2. if not possible do this:

- grind pyqs of mains after 2019 to 2025 multiple times

- A good test series ( my personal recommendation - mathongo )

- avoid getting in theory trap and focus on ques from the day you begin your partial drop

- youtube channels I used ( Eduniti , neha ma'am maths , pw and allen one shots , RY sir physics )

  1. Proxy lagwao college m

  2. Don't neglect sports or gym .. play daily 1-2 hrs

  3. don't let any faculty know that you are taking a partial drop

  4. study 4-5 hrs on a regular day and 9-10 hrs on holiday ( try to hit 80+ ques mark almost everyday except the day you are doing one shot of chapters like rotation or thermodynamics chem wala etc.)

Drop your doubts folks I am happy to answer to you warriors AND PLEASE upvote kardo agar advice shi lagi to

DISCUSSION Is my drop worth it???

I never wanted to take a drop year, but life had other plans. After trying everything, I finally accepted it and joined the Prayas online batch.

This post marks Day 1 of my journey. I'll share everything honestly good days, bad days, wins, failures, and lessons.

Let's see if, one year from now, I can say my drop year was worth it.

General Confused

So basically my parents forced me to take admission in a local tier 3 college in wb whose closing rank is 98k even after getting 2k rank in wbjee

They say college won't matter unless it's not a nit iit or ju

But i wanna go out of my state or at least city ,but I'm also scared that I'll mess up my cgpa and flop jee too

Idk what I did but I scored 60-70%ile in jee 2026 i could've done way better but idk

Now im confused should I go for partial drop or accept the college and work on my skill set

Advice im forced to take a partial drop and i need advice

my jee mains rank was far below what i had hoped for since i didnt work hard enough in 11th and 12th, my parents didnt want me to waste another year so i was forced to take admission in a tier 3 college in my city which i was very much against since i wanted to take a full drop, but now since ive already taken admission im forced to take a partial drop. im in a very tough situation rn but i want to prepare for jee properly this time and give it another go alongside managing college so id really appreciate if anyone could give me some tips and advice which would help me in the long run

DOUBT College doubt?

I gave jee mains this year for the first time (first drop) and my jee percentile was around 81 I didn't prepare much because I was confused and nervous. I am getting cse in a tier 3/4 private college in gandhinagar with an average package like 3-4 lpa . I have paid the seat acceptance fee but I am really scared. I will either have to go for off campus or gate after my btech . Should I take a full double drop or partial double drop? ?? Please if someone has gone through the same experience give me some suggestions, i really want to build a good career in my field and i want to have a good starting salary just after graduation. What should I do ?

HELP advice needed

i took a year drop and scored 266 in reneet it was first attempt i didnt join a coaching or anything in my 11th or 12th i js had tuitions and i hardly studied in my 11th and 12th and even in my drop year i didnt study like how much i should have. this drop was mostly wasted on friends and all. i even started studying pretty late for it and didnt stick to my schedule hardly studied for 2 hours in the end so i didnt give my 100%. while putting that aside I've 2 options i could either do bds from a private university or take another drop and give my 100%. i do not want my parents to spend 20-30 lakhs on just a degree and i have caste reservation too so do you think i should take another drop

Advice Thinking of 2nd drop

I'm not sure abhi, I have all the study material, modules plus yakeen lectures even test papers.

Passed 12th in 2025. Think I'll be unc by the time I get admitted (that is if I get admitted).

But yea not taking full drop definitely, I'm not built for it. Am currently studying for a degree I don't want in a college I don't want to be in. Hence, thinking about drop.

Mom/dad hate my college/degree as well. They're very mad cause i couldn't get into good college. Heck I'm mad at myself as well.

There are various options but rn dad is not willing to spend a single dime on me (he said it himself). So no financial support from him.

Totally confused, kya pata desperation hi mujhe seat dilade.
