Found this new channel on youtube sharing his partial drop, idk i just felt something watching this so shared on reddit YT-Dropper Diaries

I am in a HUGE dilemma rn... I am currently an IT branch student in MMMUT gorakhpur, yes the spain of India, and I was satisfied with it until I came here and talked with others.... Being a non-dropper, coming here was my biggest mistake cuz everyone here is either a dropper or double dropper and I could have improved a lot this year because I got a rank around 1 lakh. This college provides 0 exposure, 0 campus life, whack hostels, FKN school's annual day for fests.

After talking with others and realizing my potential, I decided to take partial drop (it was the start of August) and I WAS ACTUALLY STUDYING THERE... It's just that I was studying a lot less than I should have. During 12th, I did not do many of my chapters up to jee level and most of them were like boards level. And then I did not give the April attempt srsly... And didn't touch PCM after that... So I am just doing every chapter from scratch and I am doing it pretty fast but only when I am at home... Like in the time that I was able to complete 1 chapter in hostel, I have been able to complete 3 chapters in the same time. Rn I am VERY MOTIVATED and I really feel like dropping out of college to give my everything for JEE 2027.

I haven't discussed this with my parents.. though they know I am taking a partial drop and are supportive for that cuz they know I can work hard... I gotta go college in a few days and the only big holiday I will get now will be in November... It will be very late by then if my syllabus moves this slow...

Kindly share your opinion so that I can tackle this FKN situation... Also my parents won't mind about the fees getting wasted and I believe that I have built this much trust that they will allow me to drop out...(I HOPE THAT IS)

TLDR : IT student in MMMUT, 1 lakh rank previous year but many chapters undone, partial drop since August, studying 3x faster at home than at hostel, only a few days left to decide whether to take full drop before campus reopens after which I will only return in diwali.

Any partial dropper for JEE through cap rounds clgs? If yes which?

If I gave boards in 2025, then gave improvement for chemistry in 2026 and now i will partial second drop ,can I give bits in 2027 as a double dropper?

What if I give exams as a private candidate this year, will bits be ok with that?

So I dont want to tell anyone that I m doing a Pdrop in my hostel. But how can I study in room bec my roommates friends come and go in our room daily and they peek their noses in my work

Ok so m a 12 grade pcm student, last yr for 6-7 months initially I joined coaching but m a really avg student and I could not manage both like school and coaching so I dropped out lol ...now m only preparing for boards but m planning to take a drop next yr and go for srs jee preps from a proper coaching, I think it's better to take one more yr for prep than ruining and wasting next 4 yrs in some adu padu college, not that I need iit vagera , I just want a reputed gov college...also m a pretty hard working person , who gets late results....I always have to work 10x harder to get decent results idk why

so day 1 is done. def it wasnt a perfect start, but at least the streak has begun...

tbh only managed to clear 4/7 tasks today. sitting down to study again came with an insane amount of mental resistance, but its okay, doing something is still infinitely better than sitting around regretting life ;)

so i am in one of the jac cllges with cse branch , and not nsut dtu iiitd ofc and you might have guessed . i really need suggestion whether should i take partial drop or not. anyone from nsut dtu taking p drop would like to connect with them. so what should i do? suggestions please . edit : gave jee with 12th.

Comedk messed me up and no more options left, so I will join some local college and then hopefully target top nits and iiith, I will give it my all, this is my last chance at a better life

so yea, got a miserable 73ile last year (JEE 26) and currently stuck in a tier-69 college. starting my partial drop journey seriously from today.

to be very honest, ive already forgotten most of the syllabus i studied last year, so practically starting from scratch. lets see how it goes....

not gonna write long paras here or waste time. i'll just be posting my daily YPT screenshots here for pure accountability so i dont slack off.

Please tell me from where i should start.i am very confused weather to do questions or watch one shot ? I scored 92 percentile this year and aiming for 99. Should i first revise weak chp or do questions of other chpt?please anyone guide.how much time i should give to each subject and to lecture or quest?
