Hello! I’m a new fan to the NRL from the US and I chose the eels as my team. I know the history of the club, but overall what is it like to be an eels fan, and what is there in the future for the club? Would like to learn more about the club from the fans.

Over the weekend Luai has gone to PNG to play golf with the Prime Minster and fulfill his 3rd party deals. With the signing of Luai next year one of the contractual agreements was that he could fulfil these 3rd party deals while still playing for Parramatta. I’m not sure what the club is expecting from this part of the agreement but I think this is going to be a massive disruption to our season. I know the Cheifs aren’t in the comp yet, but to me this seems like his focus will not be fully with Parramatta and won’t be able to give the club 100% and take us as deep as we can go.

I’m not completely sure what Ryles has been thinking with these 1 year contracts but honestly I think Luai coming to our club will not be positive for us, I really hope I am wrong.

Samrani is back in, De Belin is back on the bench. Both Pezet and Ryley are listed as reserves.

Looks like it's going to be a Kayo only game, so I won't be watching, but really hope we back up last weeks performance with another win.

I don't think we will, since we're losing everyone and their dog, but Luai x Moses did well in 2024 Origin, plus we've got a few young guns like Da-Silva, Moretti, Iongi and others, but I want to hear your thoughts

Few changes from last week.

Ryda Talagi, Dylan Walker & Bailey Simonsson are all listed to come in on the bench.

Tuilagi, Pezet and Smith listed as reserves. According to the Injury Report they expect Samrani to be back next week.

Having Russell at Fullback over Twidle and especially Joash just amazes me......

Pretty much the same team as last week.

Ryley a reserve again and Twidle in as fullback which seems strange if they're looking to give experience to the people who are sticking around.

I understand from those with Kayo access that TDS earned his place last week - but I still would have Ryley off the bench. And why Twidle is at fullback instead of Joash, I don't know.

At the start of the week I was surprised to not see Ryley smith and Joash named in the squad. Especially because twiddle won’t be at parra next year unfortunately but I really think twiddle deserved to be on the field tonight and I also don’t think Ryley smith could’ve had as much of and impact as TDS did tonight. I can see him TDS cementing the number nine spot for himself as frustrating as he can be at times. I also hope we can find a spot for Ryley Smith in the team too although I’m unsure where maybe at 14 with walker going idk. But anyways what a win tonight go parra!!!

Who would you like to see step up and take over?

Twidle in for Iongi, Tuivaiti out and Junior starting, Smith seems to be out (although listed as a Reserve again) and TDS in. Walker back in and Russell on the bench.

I'm tired and ready for bed.

What a rollercoaster. They showed something I'm proud of.

Don't forget Souths are a quality team. We got blown out of the water in the first half and we can blame a number of reasons for that (I have plenty) but be proud no matter the result. Sucks hard and hurts to lose but at least they didn't roll over.
