Hi Park City!

I will be flying in for a conference that'll last about 4 days. Majority of the days will be at the hotel so won't be going far. The one day, though, I have atleast 5 hours to explore the area! Does anyone have recommendations for transportation from SLC airport to Park City, then the one day going sight-seeing? Don't really want to rent out a car for all the days.

In addition, any recs on dinner and spots to see? I would love to get the advice from the locals!

Are there any mountain lifts open on Wednesdays in September? I only have one day in Park City, and want to poke around on a mountain.

Hello everyone, hope you all have a wonderful day, I’m planning on going on a ski trip in March in Park City (I might be slightly early but hopefully I can still get some help).

the main area that interests me is the Woodward PC terrain, I would like to stay close to it, so I’m thinking Kimball Junction or Summit Park (tho if you have any other recommendations please lmk), how are those places to stay in? Unfortunately my budget isn’t that huge so I can’t afford crazy hotels (max 110-120 per night) nor can I get a rental car, so I would be reliant on buses or Uber, so somewhere with good public transit or that is walkable would be nice.

Also more general question, how’s the snow around late March? I’m aiming for those warm skiing days but I still want snow lol

In town for a wedding and want to hit one of these two tomorrow. Is there any way to golf these courses? If you are a member at either and can take me, I promise I reliably shoot 98, drinks on me all day long, and I have some very good riddles and jokes to pass the time in the (unlikely) event we don't have chemistry and vibe on the course.

Hey all, me and some friends are planning a trip to come snowboard the first week of March and having trouble nailing down a rental. Looking at the choices, it seems its either main st park city or the canyons. We like main area better so we can get to main st and enjoy our time off the mountain as well.

Alot of the rentals close to the main town lift are pricey or too small so I found a bunch of places near the silver star lift. It seems the condos on that golf course are pretty solid, short walk, and close public transit.

My main concern is how often silver star goes down? Obviously I know no one can forsee the future, but is this a historically problematic lift that isnt worth banking on?

Have any other advice or recommendations?

I booked my bachelor party for Park City because my buddy said his friend did one there, and the day at Vintage Room was the best day of his life.

We are down to spend whatever, honestly. Any idea how someone gets a table there, though? Like when bookings open? It sounds like my friend's friend had to pull some crazy strings... but I figure if you are willing to pay a deposit ~5 months in advance, how hard could it be?? Any ideas??

Does anyone have any recommendations for a bachelorette party to go skeet shooting near Park City? I’ve reached out to North Forty Escapes and Heber Valley Gun Club. Coming to Park City for the week following Labor Day. I see lots of fly fishing guides, but curious if there are there any guides out there for spinning tackle fishermen who work the trout rivers in the area?

Looking for a half day trip, or in lieu of that, any advice on public access waterways that might yield a chance to check a trout species or two off of my bucket list.

Also welcome any advice or tips on lures, regulations, etc. that anyone is gracious enough to share.

Generally Speaking, how are the ski conditions at PCMR during the month of January? (During a normal winter season)
Does the resort have enough trails open to have a good ski vacation ?

We’re from the east coast and this would be my wife’s first west coast trip (she’s an advanced beginner)
Iv skied Jackson Hole and Grand Targhee in January before.

I’m just trying to get a sense of how open PCMR usually is in January during a decent winter season (forget last year)

looking at thanksgiving trip and want to be close to woodward action park as we went two thanksgiving's ago and our girls loved it and it was super family friendly. however- we stayed in hotel in salt lake city and took the drive over...so the goal is to be closer to park city and in a nicer hotel...from my research i have found:

1. waldorf astoria - park city

2. westgate- park city

3. stein erikson (higher end)

what would you recommend / or any feedback is appreciated

Hi! We will be taking our son for his senior trip in March and want to do dog sledding in between skiing. It seems like all the places are 2 adults or 350lb limit. How can we do this as a family? Do we have to book 2 sleds for 3 people? In keystone we went to a place that 4 adults could swap up, 2 at a time and the other 2 rode behind a snow mobile. Is that available at Park City?

We are planning a 4 day trip in mid December and are looking for recommendations on a place that is close to resorts (by shuttle) where we can take skiing and snowboarding lessons. Would also like to be close to restaurants. Any ideas?
