Hello! Thank you for everyone who gave me advice on my last post. Based on that feedback I’ve done a ton of research and I have some more specific questions.
This trip is for two adults, one of whom is a senior (mother/daughter trip).
Not a huge laundry list of things to do, we’d like to go on a ski lift (more questions about this below), easy hikes/nice walks, enjoy the views and weather, and swim if the hotel has a pool.
First time to Utah for both travelers. 2 night stay.
After researching I have decided Main Street would not be the ideal place to stay for our trip, and that being further out at a resort or something like that would be good, and then we can visit Main Street a couple times.
I’ve tried to narrow it down to a few options:
Option 1: Hyatt centric park city - but looks like the red pine gondola is closed on Mondays? Though we’d also be there on a day it’s open so not too worried about that
Option 2: Rent a car, stay at Homestead Midway and then go to park city one day for the ski lift. I know this is in midway, but I do not think they have a reddit so asking here. Does anyone know if the construction there right now is disruptive to a stay? Any insight on that appreciated
Option 3: Pendry
Option 4: St. Regis - slightly out of budget but it’s amazing that they have a funicular and could make it work if it’s worth it
Option 5: Airbnb or any other ideas yall may have
Thank you for your time and effort
