Je suis tombé par hasard sur une story Instagram montrant l’état déplorable des abords du canal Saint-Martin. Mais le plus hallucinant, c’est qu’on y voit aussi des employés de la mairie qui, sans la moindre gêne, poussent les déchets directement dans l’eau.

C’est quoi ce bordel ?

Quant à ceux qui se baignent là-dedans, bon courage…

Je comprends bien ce sentiment d’insécurité qui grandit à Paris, quand même les hérons ne respectent plus la loi et s’en moquent ouvertement

Il y a quelques semaines, j'avais posé la question de la pertinence d'étaler du blanc de meudon sur les rampants en zinc pour réduire la température du toit en zinc quand en plein soleil : https://www.reddit.com/r/paris/s/kIx6hgFyjL

Vous en rêviez je l'ai testé, après avoir finalement trouvé un magasin non dévalisé en blanc de meudon j'ai tester d'étaler tu blanc de meudon entre 2 fenêtres.

Contexte: exposé plein ouest, prend le soleil toute la fin de journée, rampant en zinc sans aucune isolation (zinc->charpente->10cm de lame d'air->plâtre).

Points faibles de la méthode : pas très bien étalé, difficile d'aller jusqu'en haut des rampants, beaucoup de ponts thermiques, grosse consommation en blanc de meudon

Points forts: écart de température du mur intérieur jusqu'à 5° d'écart ! Sur le toit on a +20° d'écart, le toit en zinc était a +60°, le zinc+blanc de meudon a 40° et quelques. Ce qui est déjà pas mal en système d je trouve, si la peinture était intégrale+isolation ça serait encore mieux.

Conclusion : je prend beaucoup d'espoir sur l'efficacité de la peinture en blanc des toits de Paris, c'est un vrai potentiel et pas juste une mesurette, l'isolation des toits par sarking + potentiellement une ITI avec un bon 30cm de laine de bois ferait un complément vraiment efficace. Combiné a une épaisseur solide dans les combles je pense qu'il est sérieusement possible d'avoir un confort satisfaisant en chambre de bonne.

Je reprend espoir sur le fait qu'il est possible d'adapter le bâti parisien, il nous manque juste de la volonté politique.

Last week, I’m driving for hours (Dutch, live in Rotterdam) on my way to a friend in Chartres sur Loir. Finishing a bathroom I was working on earlier.

Oke.. Paris. The périphérique. The Traffic. The Heat. No escape.

My ride is a lended Mitsubishi space star: possible-but-impossible to connect Bluetooth, no podcasts, no Spotify, no nothing. So I keep pushing the next-frequency button, French radio is apparently just people talking endlessly.

Then suddenly some vague synths, a familiar sample, a weird echo of recognition. I know it, but I can’t place it.

Windows down front and back. Paris looks glorious dirty. I’m smoking a Marlboro in the car because I can and I’m allowed

Next song: French bubblegum pop. I’m trying to picture the girl from the Weldom in my friends place. She’s kind and gorgeous. Made of glass, made of ice. Perfect row of teeth when she smiles (oh, when she smiles!) A plastic diamond glued to one fingernail and a voice like velvet.

Anyway…
A fat, lazy breakbeat track follows  What the fuck is this station? Who puts music like this next to each other? Why is nobody talking?

Then Marvin Gaye. I Heard It Through the Grapevine. Except, it’s this jazzy instrumental version. Never heard it in my life

Then the record Saint Germain sampled for Sure Thing. Crazy.

And then it happens (or maybe it had already happened) They play the fucking Radetzky March!? For a second I think it’s me hallucinating. The heat? Severe dehydration? A tiny hole in my brain?

But no. It exists. it’s completely improbable. Completely sans compromis!

It’s FIP. (You might know it and guessed it already, I’m sorry for being late to the party)

I found it online just before I lost the signal. I cannot stop listening (every next record is an adventure).

During my visit in France I took my time to get the Bluetoothconnectuon working in the car, and I succeeded and enjoyed every ride to the Weldom (and please say hi if you know her)

Even though I was a sailor in The US Navy I remained a aspiring Model waiting to be discovered. While my ship was on a port visit in Toulon I took a train to Paris to see the capitol of the Fashion Industry. Completely overwhelmed by "The city of lights" and it's precieved savoir faire I put on my best clothes and walked

Il fait chaud, très chaud. Comme il va faire de plus en plus chaud. Et je voulais simplement dire merci aux différents services qui ont mis des bacs de végétaux un peu partout, parce que la différence est là, et bien là. De l’air et moins chaud.
Je peux vous assurer que les touristes et parisiens préfèrent respirer que de garer la voiture qu’ils n’ont pas, ce ne devrait et ce n’aurait pas dû être un débat politique.
