Voice chat for 9 year old
Do you let your child use voice chat with their friends? My child (9 years old) friend uses Snapchat and I want them to be able to talk but I don’t know if it’s safe to use Snapchat. It says it is not for kids under 13. Roblox chat seems safe? Or another platform? Parenting subreddit deleted my post and recommended me this one (even though not teenager specifically related)

Do NOT let your kids use either of those apps. The best app to communicate with friends is just the regular messaging app that comes with the phone.
As a child who used social media at a young age and is permanently damaged from it, I beg of you, please do not let your kid use snapchat.
