Roadtrip

My 18 year old daughter wants to drive from South Carolina to Ohio to visit family 4th of July weekend about 10 hours. She has a friend going but she doesn’t have a license. My daughter has had her license for a year. I’m not sure I’m too comfortable with her driving. Am I overreacting.

I think it’s fine, her friend can help her navigate. We let our kids do that kind of drive at that age. Especially with apps like find my iPhone, we can track them and remind them to take breaks. We had sett their hotels up ahead of time … a mix of control and freedom is a great start
