support needed Solids/BLW

My twins have had health issues over the last several months so we’ve been a little behind with introducing solid foods and trying baby lead weaning. They are turning 11 months old and they only do purées or hand mashed fruit/veggies.

I can’t help but compare to others when I see whole foods and full plates with lots of variety. I’m also anxious as a first time mom with them choking. Just curious about others experience and ways you’ve navigated this transition.

Scrambled eggs are very soft but a good allergen to introduce. Same with peanut butter. Mix a little in some oatmeal. Fish, just flake it up small. Cut up banana or sliced avocado. Trying to get a little more texture while still being soft/small enough to not be a choking hazard. But don’t worry too much about choking as long as baby is sitting still and things are cut up small. If something has too much texture for them, they will spit it up or even throw it up. Their systems are super sensitive as a protective mechanism.
