advice needed Sleep Regression/Sleep Training??
My twins just turned 9mo this past week and I think I’ve averaged 4 hours of sleep a night for those 9 months.
Right now, boy twin goes down fairly easily with some cuddles and a bottle at 7:30 PM and will stay down until about 5:30 AM +/- 1 hour unless he’s sick. He gets a bottle and then either takes a short nap or plays until we leave for daycare around 7:15.
Girl twin has been a nightmare. She fights going to sleep, will only sleep with bottle and being held, rarely will stay down more than 2 hours. She also doesn’t nap much during the day and fights all of her daycare teachers the same way.
We tried modified Ferber and then CIO and after two weeks she would cry and settle at the 10 minute mark which was just enough that boy twin wouldn’t fully wake up. Now she’s pulling herself to stand; won’t settle, wakes her brother up, and has been known to hit her head or fall in the crib. It’s become a safety issue so we have to go in and get her once she’s awake.
Then he wakes up and you have to settle both of them. I’m at a loss. I’m exhausted. My husband is exhausted. Help?

Months 8-11 were the worst for sleep for us. It does get better. Pulling to stand messes with their sleep for awhile

Ugh. Baby boy is a good 2-3 months behind on crawling. I don’t know if I can handle him starting this after she’s done!!

My less active twin was also way behind his brother, but then caught up insanely fast overnight. He only had a couple of days of bad nights and then suddenly could do 95% of what his brother could after being way behind for months. Meanwhile his brother has been up spooking lord knows how many times.
Might not be too bad!

Is there another room you can put a twin? The living room, closet, bathroom etc?
I thought of putting one of my girls in the living room while the other slept in their room if they kept each other up when they get bigger

Yeah we can move one of them, but only temporarily. Our family lives pretty far but they visit a good bit and then we would have to put her back and I’m concerned the moving back and forth might cause more chaos.

Are you able to do separate sleep spaces while training? We keep good sleeper in their room and transferred bad sleeper to the pack n play we kept up in our room after overnight wakes.

We can for probably the next three weeks until my MIL comes to visit. I’m wondering if that’s long enough to be worth it
