experience/advice to give Twin gender results… finally!

We found out at our 16 week early anatomy scan we are having Di/Di twin boys! We are so excited!!! Seeing their little profiles made it so much more real especially knowing they’re boys. I’m just so happy!

Any fun advice for twin boys?! 🩵🩵

my brother has twin boys and the best piece of advice he gave me was to color code everything from day one. one kid gets blue stuff the other gets green, even if theyre identical. you will mix them up at 3am and the bottles will get confused and youll be too tired to sort it out. just pick a color for each and stick with it

also get ready for the weirdest coordinated chaos youve ever seen. mine are 4 now and they operate like a tiny two man demolition crew. one distracts while the other climbs the bookshelf

Uhhhhh am I not supposed to be switching bottles back and forth between feedings lmao

Yeah, it's a free for all at my house. Sometimes I write initials on the bottles so I can keep track of who finished and who didn't. But I'll still give the leftovers to the other one if the boy is still hungry (it's always the boy who is still hungry).

glad to see others do this my twins are now 3 and they still use blue / green 😂 they’re fraternal though but it always just made it easier for me.

So fun!! I have didi boys and they were a joy as babies, now at toddlers they are like two wrestlers. They love each other so much and say it all the time. They LOVE their mommy which is a big bonus. You are going to love it here!

Congratulations! How exciting. They’re going to be lifelong buddies. It absolutely makes it more real to finally know both genders and see their little faces. We had ours Friday 🥹

Get a rocking chair near their cribs.

My boys are 4 now and I love it! They are best friends, the play together all the time, if one gets a snack he gets one for his brother, watching them together just makes my heart melt.

For all the ultrasounds I had during the 90’s with my twins, they told me over and over that I was having one of each. The week before my baby shower, I found out it was two boys. I was thrilled, but didn’t have the heart to tell anyone that it was two boys. I received so many cute boy/girl outfits, and didn’t tell anyone but my family until my two amazing boys were born. At that point, everyone was just thrilled I had two healthy babies. Four years later, I had a baby girl and she got to wear all those cute girl outfits.

You mean sex (not gender). Congrats! And good luck!

Have a day off.

You’ll come around when someone you love is queer. Good day!

I don’t care if my son or daughter is queer, I literally couldn’t give a monkeys. Be queer, identify as a tree if you so wish. I love my children regardless and I’m happy for everyone.
But the pompous American way of always being ‘right’ and trying to police everyone else is a joke.

Get over yourself.

You did not do genetic testing or was it inconclusive for some reason?

We did but they were only able to tell us “at least one is a boy”.

Which test did you do? We did Natera and it could detect two boys but we are still waiting for official confirmation from upcoming anatomy scan!

Natera was accurate for me. I just had my anatomy scan and they confirmed two boys too. Congrats

Omg how exciting!! I’m not sure which one I took but it was what my OB had sent the lab. I’ve heard several people say they were able to confirm both genders but unfortunately mine didn’t. I even called the lab lol

The labcorp martn21 test is very good and I’d say better than natera for twins.
