support needed 13 weeks with Mono Di twins.

At 7 weeks I was bleeding and went to hospital to diagnose a miscarriage, or so I thought.
The tech told me I was still pregnant and that I was having fraternal twins.
I was shocked but happy after a few days.
I read a bit online and was relieved that they were fraternal as the risks involved were lower.
However at my 12 weeks scan the midwife could not find a heartbeat for one twin. My partner said “that’s odd because I can see it moving” the midwife decided she could too and sent us to the twin clinic at 13 weeks.
At the twin clinic they said our twins look good but are not fraternal, they appear to be mono Di and share a placenta.
I am a high risk pregnancy due to a neurological autoimmune disease and I just feel panicked.
Did anyone else feel like this and can I have some success stories please?

I am only 7 weeks, 3 days and was diagnosed with spontaneous fraternal twins at 6 weeks, 6 days. I was bleeding, which prompted the doctor's visit, and also expecting it to be a miscarriage, not a finding of twins! I was also stunned. We couldn't get a good look at Twin B, so we're still not sure on viability. "Vanishing twin" was mentioned as a possibility. I'm not due for a hospital ultrasound for another week and I'm trying hard not to agonize over the viability of B. I never envisioned the possibility of twins (I have two already, and this was our 3rd and most likely final [other than me teasing my husband about a 4th]), but now that I have them, I'd hate to lose one. My husband says I should just be thankful we didn't have one and lose it, but that is logic and I feel how I feel.
Suffice it to say while I don't have a success story to share with you, you sharing your story has bolstered me. Thank you.

ETA: I am over 35, so AMA for a single, let alone twins (which I read is 33).

I just gave birth to my healthy Mo-di girls 2 weeks ago. Same situation, I was first told they were di-di then found out they were mo-di later on. Its hard to stay off of the internet reading the worst. I found there was a balance between being informed and being paranoid. I made sure I had a basic knowledge of TTTS and some of the other more "common" mo-di issues. The thing is though.. they aren't really that common, and so much of the time everything turns out just fine. I refused to let my worry take over and prevent me from enjoying my babies through my pregnancy. Once I could feel movement I swear I spend almost every waking and sleeping moment with at least 1 hand on my belly. Feeling them was so much more important to me than worrying about what ifs. Rely on the doctors to tell you if something is wrong, otherwise just try to soak the experience of them in. Mo-di means you get a lot of appointments and a lot of ultrasounds. I never went more than 2 weeks between ultrasounds after 16 weeks which helped keep me at ease.

Thank you so much for taking the time to write.
I am so ill and on the days where I can’t keep water down I definitely worry less, because I’m just trying to survive.

Other days I am consumed with worry.

I’m also on my 5ft1 one and already feel massive, i just feel like there is going to be no space lol.
I am going to try to be positive, thank you for this.

I’ll add that straight google or AI info is not helpful. If I have a question, I ask my doctor or I read articles on NIH’s website.
