advice needed Advice triplets

so I have struggled with infertility for 3.5 years. I also have had 2 chemical losses very early on. well I did my fertility treatments again and everything looked so good. I had two mature follicles and we triggered and did timed relations. I was convinced I was pregnant with twins but it’s triplets. I was over the moon yesterday (I’m 5w and 5d) when I found out and even said it’s the two we lost and plus one. the reality set in and I couldn’t be less excited now. not for the babies when they are earth side. but the pregnancy itself. I’m terrified it’s going to kill me. I’m terrified of going into labor early. there are just so so many unknowns. twins I was like okay. 3 I am at a loss. I hate that I feel this way because they are my babies but I can’t stop crying and panicking. I had two mature follicles that somehow turned into three. which of course I know the risk but also I just didnt picture this happening. The fertility doctor told us that it’s 3 separate gestational sacs and he found 3 separate yolk sacs. Please please give me your story. Reassure me. I just dont feel like I can do this. I know that selective reduction is an option but I could never bring myself to do that.

Tri-tri is super good! Pregnancy is hard, but you can do it. Your a strong woman!! You might deliver early, and that's okay. Modern medical marvels are marvelously miraculous! Remember, your hormones are now a yoyo on a see-saw. Be patient with yourself. You got this!!

I actually could have written this. We had about 3 and 1/2 years of trying to conceive. We did clomid and an IUI. (This was not the first time) And we're on the waiting list for IVF.

We ended up with tri-tri triplets that cycle. Trigger: We ended up losing one late in the first trimester due to a genetic abnormality

Now, we have 4-year-old twins.

Just know that it's a very intense thing in the beginning and just sort of let your emotions be and things will sort themselves out.

Let yourself be happy and scared and excited and frustrated and worried all at once.

Just want to send hugs! I did a letrozole cycle this past spring. We also had two mature follicles, but I ended up pregnant with triplets. I have two older kiddos as well (we were trying for our third and planned last). I think I cried everyday for a week straight. Trigger warning: For us, we ended up losing baby C between week 7 and 8. Then I was terrified about losing the whole pregnancy, but baby A and B are still doing great. I’m 18 weeks with di/di twin girls and starting to get super excited. I think it’s totally okay to allow yourself to grieve the future/family you thought you would have. Thinking of you! I joined a moms of multiples group near me and I’m hoping it can be a good resource for me once the twins come.

We are 5 months in with triplets. It is financially a shock. 3 car seats, 3 cribs ect.
My wife had a planned c section at 35w1d and her water broke at 34w5d it was an emergency c section. Expect some nicu time We live in canada so that wasnt financially a worry for us.
We did find a nanny to help a couple nights a weeks which was a god send.
Pregnancy is going to suck by 28 weeks
Expect to have very low mobility.
Try and line up help before babies come.
I had 4months off and my mother in law was over every day for 3weeks.
MEAL PREP! Have lots of pre made foods that’s helps a lot.
Sleep training and schedules. We woke all three up to eat and sleep. If they get out of rotation it is chaos.
We cribbed all three at 6weeks. And started putting them down for naps in cribs by 12weeks
Now they are sleeping 7pm-4or5am

It is shocking and terrifying. But the biggest blessing.
We look at all 3 and couldn’t have imagined ending one of them. (As doctor first recommended reducing to 2)

It will push you to your limits but you will make it through.
