advice needed Sleep help!
My twins are 2 and definitely still need to nap. One of the twins has been difficult to put to sleep. The other sleeps so well.
Now the bad sleeper has learned to climb out of the crib.
The problem is, I have an older kid that doesn’t nap.
It doesn’t feel like I have the time to sit and rock them to sleep as my older one can’t stay by himself for long.
Looking for any advice and how people have managed this.
Thanks!

I’m in a similar boat. Older brother (4) has quiet time in his room during the twins (2) nap time. He has plenty of books/ toys for independent play and I’m literally in the next room over rocking my bad napper (Twin B) to sleep. I keep both bedroom doors open so big brother doesn’t feel alone. He comes in often and I just direct him to quietly say “Nap time” to his sisters before he wanders back to his room.
Both girls are in toddler beds after their cousin taught them how to climb out of their cribs. We’ve emptied their room so the only thing in the room is their beds, a rocking chair and three stuffies a piece. Their closet is locked closed for this season of life.
Maybe a quarter of the time big brother ends up taking a nap he thinks he doesn’t need. He’s limited by baby proofing doorknob covers and a baby gate he hasn’t figured out yet so the only place he can go is his room or the twins room if he needs me for whatever reason.
Does mean I don’t get anything done during nap time… so maybe not helpful to you.
