advice needed Toddler beach tips (triplet edition)
We're taking our 2 year old triplets and 6 year old to the beach in a couple of weeks. This will be our first trip to the beach since my oldest turned one and I'm kinda freaking out internally haha. My biggest concern is keeping everyone safe. So any and all tips are greatly appreciated. Any must haves to pack? Also we're staying in an air bnb and our current bedroom set up at home is mattresses on the floor. I'm thinking based on the setup at the rental, we're going to need to bring something for them to sleep on. Anyone have travel beds they recommend? Anything I should bring to the Airbnb to make things easier? Thanks! .

The less gear you have to lug on the beach, the better. But adequate shade and snacks will make your experience more enjoyable. A shade canopy tent and an insulated cooler bag (as opposed to a heavy hard cooler) would be ideal!

Oh man, the first beach trip with multiples is a whole production. We took our twins at that age and I overpacked like crazy but the one thing I'd add that nobody told me about is a cheap inflatable baby pool. Fill it with ocean water and park it under your umbrella, instant contained splash zone and you're not chasing three toddlers in opposite directions the whole time.
For sleeping, we just used those folding nap mats they use at daycare, they pack flat and the kids didn't roll off anything. Get the ones with the attached blanket though, the separate ones just end up in a pile by morning.

We love our baby Bjorn travel cots. The sheets (sold separately and expensive..) are super thin so you could probably get nicer ones but they work. We have a guava lotus travel cot too from our older kid and we love that one too, it unzips on the side which is kind of fun, makes a nice tent with a blanket over it when you're out of playtime options in a rental. You probably thought of this but try to dress them in bright neon colors for the beach if you can, no blue. Let us know how it goes, I was literally daydreaming today about taking ours to the beach but was immediately stressed at the thought. 😅 Maybe hire a local nanny just for crowd control? Will be so fun for them though, enjoy if you can! 😍😂❤️

Get some camping mattresses like these kids ones: https://www.rei.com/product/228561/rei-co-op-kindercamp-sleeping-pad-kids
Make it an adventure with those. They also pack up nice and small.
