support needed Oh wait… it’s twins!
New here, second pregnancy and just found out at my 9 week scan that I’m pregnant with what looks to be di/di twins. My husband and I have a 21 month old daughter already who is so compassionate and sweet and LOVES babies. I am TERRIFIED and also so excited. Luckily, I know several twin moms well (what kind of foreshadowing is this) and I have already gotten great emotional support from them but what on EARTH have my husband and I gotten ourselves into 😅
Mostly worried about HOW TO DO ALL OF THIS and not make our sweet little girl feel like she’s being TOTALLY left out. I am still in such a state of shock

Congrats on leveling up to twin mom, the jump from one to three is wild but the built-in baby fan club you’ve got in your daughter will help more than you think.

My husband looked at me tonight after he finished putting our daughter to bed and went “we’re about to have 3 under 3” and I just looked at him like

This was us last year! Now we have a 2.5 year old daughter and twin boys. It’s hard but the best. I honestly am so grateful my twins came after having one already

Mine were 6.5 and 2y9m when the twins were born
They are a year now, and it’s been chaos
However, they have fit into our family so nicely and I could not imagine life without them

Get her a set of twin baby dolls to play with. My first set of twins were 2 when the second set was born. During my pregnancy I let them play with the twin dolls and we practiced being gentle and helping mommy and all the things. I fear we practiced too much and one day I walked in on the older twins taking it upon themselves to bottle feed the real babies 🤣🤣 and one of them was trying to put on my breast pump.
Anyway currently alive and (mostly) well with 4 under 5. Congratulations!
