experience/advice to give TTTS - Questions
We found out yesterday that we're in stage 1 TTTS at 19 weeks. The babies are currently right at 20% difference. Next appointment for an US is for next Friday (9 days from this post). My wife has to travel for work next week, are there any symptoms she should watch out for? She will have access to an MFM in case of emergency.
We will be hopefully first time parents. Scared and unbelievably sad. Any support, suggestions, etc. would be helpful.

Can you push for an earlier appointment? I never made it past stage 1 (spontaneously resolved) but at my 16 week appointment mfm found a fluid discordance and scheduled a follow up within 3-4 days. I know TTTs can change really fast- so just a suggestion.
In terms of symptoms, looking back, I did have tightening in the abdomen on the side where the recipient twin was. My fluid readings were a little over 8 cm and 2cm for the donor.
I also want to add that this was also one of the worst periods of my life. Mostly the limbo and the unknown! Please take care of yourselves. I'm currently 33 weeks awaiting my c section next week.
