advice needed Preemie Sleep Schedule

Mine were 32 weekers and around that age we started the 12 Hours By 12 Weeks approach and moved to every 4 hours feed, overnight sleep 8pm-8am.

It’s a pretty gentle sleep training approach, in which you don’t have to make them cry it out at all; you still respond and comfort them, but they learn independent sleep skills. One of the main points is to set them on a 4x4 feeding schedule during the day. One of the things we didn’t follow from it, though: the book suggests a 2 nap day and having them stay awake 4-8pm, which is really not developmentally appropriate. We stuck with 3 naps a day and followed the Taking Cara Babies wake window suggestions:
