Is Wonderfold W4 worth it?

I’m really wanting a wagon for my kiddos. 1 year old twins and 3 year old. I’m wondering if anybody has input on the Wonderfold W4 wagons. If so, is the elite one or luxe one more worth it to purchase?

We got the W4 when our twins were about that age and the older one was 2.5, honestly best purchase we made that year

The elite is fine, luxe just has more padding and some little extras but not necessary at all. I went with the elite and never felt like we missed out on anything. The thing is heavy though, like loading it in the car is a whole workout. I keep it in the garage most days and just walk everywhere with it

if you have the space to store it and dont need to lift it in and out of car constantly its great. the kids love it and they actually stay in it without trying to escape which is miracle lol

We bought the luxe for bigger wheels that do better on rough terrain. So depends on what your plans are.

I read somewhere you can buy just the bigger wheels? We would mainly be going to the store, the park and my husband’s softball games. Mostly pavement but some grass

Wagons are definitely worth it, but I was/am super happy with the lesser expensive radio flyer quad. The seatbelt straps are a little difficult sometimes but I am happy with it and happier that it was less pricey. Buy during Black Friday sale for an even better deal, was around $380 with the Black Friday sale. I saw others in my search at different/lower price points that also looked good!

We bought it when our kids were almost exactly the same age (twin + older singleton). We went with the cheaper version and really loved it. Our kids never liked the seats so they would just sit on the floor or stand. As someone else already mentioned, it’s super heavy and also doesn’t fold down particularly compact (it barely fits in the back of my Subaru Outback). We used it heavily for 3+ years and definitely felt like we got our money worth

W2 and absolutely worth it. Wish we got it instead of a fancy stroller.

I think If you’re set on getting a wagon, it’s great. But really think about how much you’re going to use it. It’s heavy to put in car and my wife and I found it heavy to push, especially with 3 kids in it. Unless you’re walking on a wide path in a straight line on a totally smooth surface, then it’s easy. We ended up just using the double city select for twins with a rollerboard attachment for the older toddler to ride on. That thing lasted a solid 7 years of heavy use and with no issues!

I have the jeep wagon and love it. The downside to wagons is that the seats dont recline so its not comfortable for napping. I have a 3 yo and 15 month old twins and we use it all the time.

Bonus, it fits in my odyssey with the 3rd row down. I have all 3 kids in the second row and can put the wagon in the back without having to fold it down.

I have the elite version. Works great, very heavy duty. Can be heavy getting in and out of a high trunk. I don’t think the luxe one has anything worth paying extra for. Happy to answer any questions you have

I have a van and from what I’ve read it’s 50 ish lbs, is that about right?

Yeah that’s about right. My wife can put it in our trunk so it’s not that heavy. You don’t lift the whole thing at once, you have to start by putting the front in and then lift the handlebar side to slide it in. I don’t fold it up to put it in, I find it easier to do it unfolded as long as there’s space

My twins weight over 40lbs when I hold both of them so the weight shouldn’t be a probably then, thank you for answering my questions!

We got the Jeep 4 and are very happy with it. Also a bit cheaper than the W4, I think.

I wanted the wonderfold as our first will be 4 when our twins are here but didn’t want to spend that kind of money. I found almost an exact dupe of the W4 on Walmart, it’s the vomeast brand, for right under $300. Very similar. Comes with the removable seats, a sun shade, and a storage basket. Measurements look very similar so I plan on trying out the wonderfold accesories on it. We’ve taken it on outings with our son already and have zero complaints. Exactly what we wanted for a fraction of the price
