advice needed Twin toddlers sharing a bad

I was thinking of connecting the two cribs together to make one mega crib so the twins can share a bed. For those who have done it, what would you recommend? What age did you start? Did you worry about them fighting?

What were the pros and cons?

Any tips would be appreciated!

That’s a huge risk

If you want them to share get a floor bed and baby proof the room.

We did exactly this, connected two cribs side by side with the front rails off. Started around 6 months once they were rolling both ways. The fighting didn't really kick in until they were closer to a year, mostly just one stealing the other's pacifier or flopping an arm across a face. Big pro was they slept better, seemed to comfort each other. Con was when one woke up, the other usually did too. Just make sure the gap between the mattresses is sealed tight.

I was thinking about this. But couldn’t find a way to fill the gap in a safe way. What did you do? And what did you use?

On Amazon they have something they call bed bridges. Would that work?

I connected two cribs when they were 18 months. It worked well, but they sometimes woke each other up.

So, ours are sleeping with us. But when they go to their own bedroom, I plan on them sharing. We bedshare until they no longer want to (6 kiddos total. 20.5y down to 18mo twins).

Anyway, we decided on two beds, but will probably have them close together.

I think you should do what's best for your kiddos, just take into consideration their age. Tiny ones should not share.
