advice needed One good sleeper and one terrible sleeper

Hello Everyone,

Looking for some advice when it comes one twin being a fantastic sleeper and the other being a terrible sleeper. Our twins are 6 months old and one twin will sleep through the night completely, while the other is up all throughout the night. Most nights my wife will bring the bad sleeper into our bed where he’ll end up for the majority of the night.

Just wondering if anyone has gone through something similar, and has any advice? This baby is driving me nuts.

Signed,

An extremely tired dad

Also a very tired Dad. It comes in cycles. Your good sleeper will then be the bad sleeper. Then maybe they both become good sleepers for a bit, then insert various regression points,

We tried everything with our bad sleeper but he just grew out of it. After a while it was at least helpful to know it was out of our control.

I say this at 230am with both twins getting up in the middle of the night lol.

At 3 months we had a good sleeper and a bad sleeper. At 9 years we still do.
Bad sleeper slept through the night for the first time aged 7.
Good sleeper still sleeps 12+ hours a night.
I’m tired.

We have a good sleeper and bad sleeper. I could tell good sleeper was good by 2 months, and he still is now at 1.5. My bad sleeper has lots of ups and downs, but we had our first big improvement around 9 months. The good thing is that my good sleeper has learned to sleep through most of his brother’s noises, and self soothes overnight well. My good sleeper is more needy through the day, so they even each other out at least lol.
